About Us
Buchhalter International Group was founded in 2013 as a consulting firm to support efforts of luxury Tavel destinations interested in penetrating the luxury market in North America. Buchhalter International Group has, since then, successfully assisted international brands in creating brand awareness and developing marketing alliances with luxury brands in the USA and Canada. The firm expanded its services, opening a representation division and later a digital travel noncommercial magazine. Today, the firm is a respected boutique representation firm, considered one of the most respected representation firms whose portfolio includes unique luxury destination experiences worldwide. Buchhalter International Group has provided sales and marketing support to brands like Palazzo Versace in Dubai, Zemi Beach House in Anguilla, Hacienda Alta Gracia in Costa Rica, Ritz Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico and InterContinental Maamunagou in the Maldives with their opening and becoming top luxury destinations for the North American and Latin American luxury markets. Design Destinations Magazine has developed into a seek-out travel magazine by travel professionals and is used as an essential information source with a higher than standard opening rate, providing our partners with a great marketing opportunity to reach a highly desired clientele.

Cynthia is a highly accomplished and resultsoriented senior sales, marketing and operations executive with extensive experience and capabilities in hospitality, travel, and tourism. She possesses a proven track record in identifying opportunities and providing creative and effective solutions, ef fi ciencies and improvements within most hospitality disciplines, including operations, technology systems solutions, all aspects of digital marketing, call center design and managements, training, customer service, quality assurance and product development. Her experience was earned by working in top executive roles with companies like Kerzner International Resorts where she worked for over 14 years as Senior Vice President overseeing the direct consumer sales strategy and company’s central reservations center.
Franz brings to the table more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry. He developed his extensive expertise by working with companies such as Westin, Sheraton, Hyatt, Abercrombie & Kent, and Kerzner International Hotels. He has performed an array of services, from opening and marketing, to selling international hotel brands, including Atlantis, Paradise Island Bahamas, One&Only Resorts, The Cove Atlantis and The Reef Atlantis.
Franz is a respected professional whose extensive marketing alliances include American Express, Master Card and the luxury consortia. Franz has been on several industry panels and has been a speaker at numerous industry events. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Ivonne Buchhalter Vice President Industry RelationsIvonne’s career spans more than 25 years in the travel industry, having worked in the hotel and aviation industries. Her professional career began with Hyatt Corporation in the Latin American Division; she later joined OAG and worked there for more than 20 years, handling the Latin American markets. Her sales experience includes working for Sheraton Corporation—she is a graduate of Barry University with a degree in Business Administration. Ivonne is also part of the Sales Team handling the New York and Florida markets. Ivonne coordinates the relationship between Buchhalter International Group and its partners. Ivonne is also fluent in Spanish.
