Looking at the ceramic industry within the different eras. Inspiration derived from shape and colour from different glass and pottery work.


Interesting patterns and colours brought from the different mechanics and sculptures. Clear interest in geometric and sculptural inspirations.



Beamish Museum

Inspiration from a decaying and corroding room in The Beamish Museum. The captivating cracks can be taken into pattern and structural and linear aspects can also inspire pattern and silhouette.




Studying garments from different eras, and what workers would wear within the industry. Focusing on trims, patterns and fabric manipulations.
