It’s showtime for Ed’s newest release - Live above it all at The Emerson. Buying a home is a significant investment for the future so it’s only natural to explore the long-lasting value of a property - and Ed.Square promises to deliver. Where most developers usually build the retail and amenity at the end of a project, we have ensured the construction of the first stage of Ed.Square Town Centre will be completed by the time our first residents move into their new homes in the second half of next year. This means our residents can enjoy all of the lifestyle benefits and conveniences on offer from day one. Ed’s newest apartment release, The Emerson, will rise directly above the Town Centre’s entertainment precinct and overlook the Central Park, in what is arguably one of the best positions in the entire precinct. At The Emerson, not only will you have access to resort-style facilities including a swimming pool and landscaped gardens with barbecue areas, you’ll also be able to access a range of parks and parklands, the Edmondson Park train station and the vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment precinct of Ed.Square Town Centre right on your doorstep.

Unseasonal Autumn days have not only delivered much welcome sunshine, but have also provided perfect weather conditions to press on with construction. Given this, it won’t be long before a diverse range of dining options will throw open their doors to new residents and visitors alike. Based on the current construction program, it is anticipated that the first stage of Ed.Square Town Centre will open in the second half of 2020 and will include a shopping, dining and entertainment precinct to cater for our new urban community and wider southwestern Sydney residents.

May 2019 Ruksanah was immediately impressed with the level of detail in the display homes and the community’s overall masterplan. “The sales centre demonstrated a great display of the final vision of the community,” says Ruksanah. “The display homes have a modern appeal with great furnishings that suited the design. I liked the unique designs and the ambience of the homes.”
Hear from our Ed.Square locals - Meet Ruksanah. For Ruksanah Sagvand, a friend’s recommendation to check out Ed.Square, Frasers Property Australia’s gamechanging new mixed-use community in Sydney’s south west, came at the perfect time. “I was at a point in my life where I was interested in buying a property,” explains Ruksanah, who lives in Macquarie Fields. “I had been looking at properties for approximately three months when a family member recommended I have a look at Ed.Square’s virtual display homes online and they appealed to me, so I decided to visit the sales centre.”
Ruksanah says Ed.Square’s location is a big drawcard as it will allow her to live close to her family and be even closer to work in Liverpool. She’s also attracted by the amenities, with the convenience of having an onsite train station as well as Coles supermarket, a wide range of stores, Event Cinemas and eateries in the town centre.
as well as their location within the community, meaning the train station, shops and eateries would be right at her finger tips. “The bigger courtyard appealed, as did being on a quiet corner position,” she says.
Ruksanah paid $490,000 for her new home, which she says represents excellent value for money when compared with other properties she looked at during her search. “Other properties did not catch my interest as they were older homes and would need renovations,” says Ruksanah.
The Franklin Townhome
Once Ruksanah realised her future was at Ed.Square, all that was left to decide was the style of home to buy. Ruksanah says price and affordability were big factors in her decision to focus her search on the one-bedroom townhomes in Hampton Corner. She loves the modern and unique design of the townhomes in Hampton Corner
“They were also more expensive. At Ed.Square I was getting a brand-new home for less than an older property, which definitely appealed to me. It was also in my price range as a first home buyer”. While Ruksanah plans to live in the property on completion in the second half of 2020, she also sees it as a great investment for her future. “I will live in this property until I am ready to upgrade to a bigger home, then I will keep this property as an investment,” she says.
