Tennis - Teen Admit it - you loved playing Dog Pound and King of the Court when you were younger. You have been stuck at home and have not played sports in months. Golf Youth A class designed for boys and girls to develop the basic skills to become a proficient golfer. We will focus on developing fundamental movement skills in addition to golf specific training techniques. These basic golf skills will begin on the driving range and putting green, developing agility, balance, visualization, body rotation, and core strength. Junior Golf - Intro to Course Play This class is designed for the young golfer who is ready to venture onto the course. We will introduce the full-swing, short-game, putting, rules and etiquette and work towards preparing for nine hole play. Players MUST be ready to carry their own golf bag for nine holes, no carts! They must have had prior golf lessons. Golfers may bring their own equipment, although clubs will be supplied to those golfers who do not own their own equipment. The golfers that are ready to play the course will have the opportunity to split into different ability groups and apply their skills on the course. The following programs will be offered at the Fraser Valley Sports Complex with Coach Dan Weida Friday Mountain Bike Camp Come out and explore the local trails with your friends! Kids and their bikes will be transported from the FVSC to different trailheads in the Fraser Valley. If your child is also participating in the Wilderness Adventure Camp from 1:00pm 4:00pm your child is welcome bring a sack lunch and watch a movie between programs from Noon to 1pm.
