The Loudoun Times-Mirror presents this readers’ choice contest awards annually to honor the businesses and businesspeople that are the heartbeat of our community. We count on you to help us do that through your votes and by spreading the word to all your friends, neighbors and relatives who love Loudoun so they can vote, too.

HOW TO VOTE

The Top 5 in each category are listed in alphabetical order, as opposed to number of votes received in the last voting round, so the contest begins with a clean slate. You may vote once per day in each category by going to LoudounTimes.com/Best. Last year, we had some pretty closely contested races, so be sure to show your favorites some love by voting daily. By sharing on social media and by emailing right through the voting website, let all your neighbors, friends and family know they can vote, too.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

After voting closes Friday, May 6, we’ll tally the ballots. The contestant that gets the most votes in their category will be declared the winner, and those with the second and third most votes will be named finalists, in no specific order. If there’s a tie in any position, we’ll announce both when we publish all the winners and finalists in another special publication and online at LoudounTimes.com/Best in June.
