Learn. Gaining greater knowledge about your nonprofit community is an excellent first step. Invite a nonprofit leader for coffee. Research their work. GiveChoose.org offers an excellent catalogue of local nonprofits in our community.

Share. Charities are challenged by limited resources. It’s just the name of the game. Be their ambassador. Praise their work through a letter to the editor or social media. Hearing it from you is twice as impactful!

Volunteer. Be proactive. Sign up. Visit Loudoun Cares at volunteer.loudouncares.org/ user/register to match your unique skills and interests with requests from area charities.

Donate. Nothing says investment like a financial gift. If you have the resources, make a gift of publicly traded stock or securities (there are notable advantages to you, the donor, and is just as meaningful to the charity) or from your IRA.

We believe in nurturing the potential of every child. The YMCA Loudoun County Early Learning Program combines a safe and happy educational environment with an intentional, creatively designed curriculum that stimulates intellectual, emotional and social growth.

Our curriculum supports learning through active play with a focus on character development. After School Programs for school age children at YMCA Loudoun County offer a variety of activities that allow your children to build new skills while reinforcing healthy habits.

We have something for everyone! Traditional Camps, Specialty Camps, Sports Camps, and more. Summer Camp at the Y is the perfect place for kids with too many interests to choose from. A true summer camp experience when children need it most!

This year, we invite you to support a local hidden gem with a strong foundation. The Marshall Center conducts tours and hosts community events at Dodona Manor, General George C. Marshall’s home, that provide a full picture of the statesman and soldier who shaped many of the major events of the 20th century. In addition, we project principled leadership into the future by hosting educational programs that reflect Marshall’s approach to leadership for students and emerging leaders.

What We Do

Now that our communit has reco ered from the impac t of the COVID 19 pandemic , we ha e gone back to our root s . We ha e t wo “little free pantr y bo es ” , one on Edwards Ferr y Road (ne t to Crossroads Baptist Church) and the other on Harrison Street (across from Brandon Park) where we work together with communit y members to keep each bo stocked with non perishable food and other essential items . Communit y members in need can access these pantr y bo es 24/7.
