ACCESScience McGraw-Hill Online version of McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology. Updated continuously. The database covers a wide range of topics from biochemistry to archaeology and anthropology and is ideal for persons with general interests, as well as students and professionals. Biography in Context Biographical database with information about some 1,400,000 living and deceased persons within all subject areas. Also contains full-text articles from some 250 periodicals and 22,000 photos. In addition, there are 15,000 links to Internet sources for further details. Book Review Digest Plus This database covers the contents of the traditional Book Review Digest (1983 ) with the addition of reviews from other Wilson indexes. The enlarged database contains some 1.2 million reviews of more than half a million English-language books within all topical areas. It also contains references to biographical articles. Credo Reference Credo makes it possible to search 100 handbook/reference titles from reputable publishing houses like Cambridge University Press and Elsevier and gives priority to providing information via animation, sound files, pictures and video clips. The database covers a wide range of topics from accounting to euro-jargon and natural disasters. There is also a wide selection of dictionaries. Current Biography Illustrated Contains approximately 15,000 biographies (full text) and 9,400 obituaries. The primary emphasis is on Anglo-Americans. The database is based on the printed edition, which has been published since 1940. Encyclopedia Britannica Online The primary work within English-language encyclopedias. It can also be used for searching 300,000 selected websites related to the articles.

Library PressDesplay Online access to 1700 newspapers from 92 countries in 48 languages. Literature Resource Center Comprised of two databases: - Contemporary Authors, containing comprehensive articles about soome 120,000 writers (primarily native English speakers) and fiction writers; - Contemporary Literary Criticism, with analyses and full-text criticism of the works of contemporary writers. Searches are conducted in both databases simultaneously.
Oxford Reference Online Contains more than 150 reference books from Oxford University Press covering every topic imaginable, from Irish literature to medicine. Science in Context English-language articles and themes that take an in-depth look at selected topics covering biology, physics, chemistry, medicine, astronomy, the environment and technology. The database has articles from reference works, 200 periodicals, and links to good websites. Student Resources in Context Covers a wide range of topics in the natural sciences including mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy and space travel, medicine, geology, biology and much more besides. Contains some 1.8 million English-language documents from reference works, 200 full-text periodicals (general and scientific), newspapers, multimedia products (8,000 photos, video clips, etc.). Links to approximately 500 websites. The articles are marked with one of three degrees of difficulty: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.
