Honen Festival This festival has the history in 1200. And, it is very unique. "Portable shrine to have the shape of the penis" enters precincts in the climax of the festival. (The penis symbolizes "Good harvest" and "Descendant prosperity") All people see it and smile. Why? It is likely to understand, if you participate. Honen Festival is held at "Tagata Shrine" in Aichi Japan on March 15 every year.
