While mostly self-guided, there will be proposed themes with a short technique review at the beginning of each session which may include mixed-media techniques or physical maneuvers. Inspiration-prompts are available at every session to ignite ideas when needed. At the end of every month we’ll invite a local Ambient Musician to perform live for students while they create their final pice of work. We ROCKS!!
We think Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation and Events ‘Rocks!’ That’s why we’ve joined the painted rock craze that has exploded in our community. We have hidden the rocks on our cover somewhere in our City parks. If you find one, bring it to our offices at the Dorothy Hart Community Center on Canal Street, and we will give you a $10 gift certificate for our programs! Can’t wait to find out where they turn up!
