The pull quotes on this table of contents have quite an authentic feel to them. They are similar to those used in newspapers. They don’t have editorial pillars on the page which goes against the convention of music magazines.
The subscriptions box shows a range of some of the best cover designs and future prints in order to entice the reader into buying into a subscription
This contents title is quite sophisticated and doesn’t necessarily fit the cover of the NME issue. There are pictures on either side of the title, acting as kind of anchors. The font used in this Is a serif font.
The font used in the page numbers is a serif font. This makes the numbers distinctive and makes them stand out from the pull quotes and editorial pillars

The image that stands out the most on the page is the one beneath the contents title. This shows that it is the main feature of the issue. This goes against most conventional contents pages as the photos around the pages are rarely as symmetrical
