Colonial Life Arena

Cottingham Theater

Harbison Theatre

Koger Center

Newberry Opera House

409-seat Newberry Opera House was named Outstanding Theater by the League of Historic American Theaters in 2008. Presents classical groups, dance ensembles, folk music, beach bands, big bands, bluegrass and more.
Sumter Opera House

Township Auditorium

The University of
South Carolina School of Music is a cultural and educational center of excellence.
Discover a vibrant mix of concerts and recitals featuring our students, faculty and guest artists. From awe-inspiring performances by the UofSC Symphony Orchestra, UofSC Wind Ensemble, Opera at USC and the many UofSC Choirs to the contemporary sounds of percussion, woodwind and jazz ensembles like The Left Bank Big Band, a diverse collection of concerts await.
And, we have opportunities for you to make music with us through our Music for Life programs.
Carolina Music Studios offers a variety of group classes and private lesson opportunities in brass, guitar, percussion, strings, voice and woodwinds.
The UofSC String Project offers instruction on violin, viola, cello and bass for adults as well as children in 3rd through 5th grade. The Center for Piano Studies provides excellent musical instruction at the piano, from age 5 to all ages of adults, and at any level, from beginners to advanced players.
Music Play classes at the Children’s Music Development Center are part of an innovative program designed to develop the music potential of children from newborns to three-year-olds. Carolina LifeSong Initiative is especially for students with cognitive disabilities.
If you’re age 50 or older, you can come participate as an instrumentalist through our Congaree New Horizons Band Program. It’s never too late to learn!
