Willow Creek Simmentals Fullblood Finale

Female Production Sale

Welcome We would like to personally invite you all to come attend our Fullblood Herd Dispersal Sale on November 17th at VJV Dawson Creek. It was a tough decision to sell this group of cows but with such small numbers and the price it costs to acquire elite herdsires we have decided it makes sense to disperse this elite set of cows and focus on the Red and Black herd. These are not just dispersal cows. This is a high quality group of cows that we have taken great pride in producing and feel like they are just coming into their prime with the exception of the two older cows, who you can see have proven their worth time and time again. You will notice that most of the mature cows are bred to none other than the great “Stuey”, a bull who has maybe been the most exciting Fullblood bull in the entire industry the past few years with progeny exceeding $70,000 numerous times! The potential of this cow herd is sky high. We feel there are a few donor prospects along with the proven donor, 59W. We encourage you to stop by and view the cows at the farm prior to the sale. If you can’t make the sale, we have a large group of sale day phones including some very reputable cattlemen who will assist you with any questions you may have. Please contact Colby or Mike with any questions you may have on the cows. We will be posting videos of the cows to our Facebook page and on YouTube prior to the sale. Also remember we have 10 papered cows selling right after the Fullblood cows. There are some young, high producing cows available. We hope to see you in Dawson Creek November 17th,

Whimsical 59W is, hands down, one of the very best cows we’ve ever owned. Selected as one of our top picks out of the Moose Creek Dispersal, she has not disappointed. We have pretty much built our entire Fullblood cow herd around her. She will sell along with four daughters and a grand daughter. She has sent sons to both Paul Kinnee and Balisky Farms, two of the very best commercial operations who have been super impressed in their bulls. A few years back we flushed her to Westgold Standout resulting in twenty #1 embryos, and, as you will see from the two flushmates in the sale, they make very nice females. This cow has never missed. At her age she still has an unreal udder structure and perfect feet that have never been touched. This is a cow we are very confident can be a donor for her new owner. Icing on the cake is being bred early to Stuey. This mating may just make all your money back first try. This is a worthy investment, she’s definitely worth it! Bred to South Seven Adonis “Stuey” on April 12. Exposed to Rafter 4T Forty Creek 7E from April 22- August 1. An absolutely beautiful daughter of 59W! An own daughter of the great Gidsco Apollo, a bull known breed-wide for his high producing daughters. This young cow comes to you full of potential to become a front-pasture female. They don’t get any darker red. She has about as perfect an udder as you will find in a full Fleck cow, and, like her mother, has big square feet. Her heifer calf at side will surely cause some excitement at the sale, she is flat out awesome. Both cow and daughter boast the cherry red hair coat, massive rib shape and wide hip. After you see this heifer calf you will see why this mating back to Stuey is a wise investment on 95A. You won’t find a more proven mating all fall. Proof will be in the ring sale day! Whimsical by Standout Flushmates A few years back we purchased Westgold Standout semen with the idea of flushing 59W to him. This pair of flushmates will make really nice cows. 83E was raised by a poor recip so she isn’t the biggest-made female but, trust me, the performance is there and you really see it with 3F. These two are virtually identical when it comes to color, excellent footed and will be front pasture cows. They say Standout makes some of the best cows. Here is a female that we feel has a very bright future. A direct BEE Element daughter with a flawless udder. We refer to 43T as “Grandma”. She is one of the most maternal cows we have owned, it doesn’t matter if its her own or not she will take care of them. When we purchased her at the Moose Creek dispersal, she was a top pick. She had one of the biggest bull calves at the sale and her production hasn’t slowed down. Her first calf was the biggest bull in the pen selling to Paul and Lori Kinnee, if you ask Lori he was her favorite bull on the farm. The highlight of her production will be the feature lot in this sale in 43C (Lot 9). She produced a $6,700 bred heifer last year in Checkers to Yellow Rose/Hampton/JR simmentals. This cow has a little more age but is still structurally sound and is a worthy cow to try and get a flush off of. Don’t let her age fool you, she has some years left. Being bred Forty Creek could be one of her coolest matings to date. Exposed to Rafter 4T Forty Creek 7E from April 22- August 1. Observed bred April 23. This cow has easily created the most buzz around the farm this past year. Tracy 43C is a definite donor candidate that is going to make her new owner a lot of money. Cherry, cherry red, excellent-uddered, massive-ribbed and a pedigree to back it. On her first try she produced a very impressive IMAX son that sold for $8,000 to the impressive opertaion at Ridgevalley Colony. She has followed it up with another impressive Element son. She has passed this same great color pattern on to both calves. This cow alone will be worth the trip to Dawson Creek to view her, once you see her you’ll see why we feel so highly on her, she’s the real deal. This will be a full sibling to the powerful heifer that was featured at Checkers last year bringing $6,700 to Yellow Rose/Hampton/ JR Simmentals. We said earlier that these Element daughters are gonna be awesome cows and here’s another one that’s going to be a big time producer.
