Mindful Breathing for All My Feelings

This book introduces young children to mindful breathing as an emotional self-regula tion strategy. Along with the characters, readers learn to recognize how emotions feel in the body and how they can use their breath to recover from challenging feelings. Vivid imagery and rhythmic text create a memorable approach to teaching mindful breathing to kids. A special section for adults provides additional information and activities to reinforce the book’s message.

Lynn Rummel, M.Ed., M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist and certified professional school counselor. While working as an elementary school counselor for nine years, she taught mindfulness and breath awareness strategies to many of her students. Currently, Lynn operates a pediatric speech and language therapy private practice. She lives in Vero Beach, FL.

Karen Bunting is an illustrator currently based in Bristol, UK, who enjoys expressing the quirky side of life in her illustrations, inspired by vintage children’s books.
