Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why

Club @ Water St. | Feb. 18 Singer/songwriter/guitarist Quinc y Mumford hails from Asbury Park NJ. He recorded three albums before forming the band, The Reason Why. Since then, two more releases have followed – Live at The Saint and It’s Only Change. He is the winner of six Asbury Music Awards; and recently, Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why won the Tri State Indie Music title of “Top New Jersey Band” in 2014.

The powerhouse act, featuring Mike Gantzer, Dave Loss, Evan McPhaden and Ryan Nogle, has built a strong name for themselves nationally with festival show and tireless club touring...Baltimore’s Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is a high-energy psychedelic funk band that’s earned a huge fanbase, known as “The Flock.” Their sound is an ever evolving arrangement of original compositions and improvisational jams.

His Cuban/ Puerto Rican heritage and penchant for sporting mini-skirts not withstanding; this manic, human laugh factory uses a mixture of street-smart ethnic wisecracks, risquÈ humor, physical comedy, and audience involvement to keep his fans happy.

Nazareth College Arts Center brings a night of high-energy jumpin’ jive to its stage, hosting Britain’s acclaimed Jive Aces and their guests, The Tinseltown Jitterbugs in Swingtime!, February 21.

Main Street Armory | Feb. 20 90’s dancehall sensation, Red Rat (“Shelly Ann” / “Tight Up Skirt”) joins forces with Pascalle (“Me and You”) for this concert the 2015 9th annual British Affair. They’ll be performing hits like “Shelly-Ann,” “Dwayne,” “Big Man Little Youth,” and more.

Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and his own half-hour standup special for Comedy Central Presents. Known for his cigar smoking and scotch drinking comedic antics, Ron has achieved two Grammy nominations, a Gold Record, and a book that appeared on the New York Times’ Best Seller List. Now performing his new stand-up show, “Nutcracker,” his most recent comedy album is A Little Unprofessional.

The act features a seven-time world champion snare drummer, Steven Graham, and several members of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Their most recent album is titled Breathe.

Auditorium Theatre | Feb. 27 Let It Be, a celebration of the music of the Beatles, comes to town. The show has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. It is a jam-packed show featuring over forty of The Beatles’ greatest hits like “Twist and Shout,” “Drive My Car,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude,” “Come Together” and “Let It Be.”

Jubilee Riots

Montage Music Hall | Feb. 27 Jubilee Riots, for merl y known as Enter the Haggis and originally based in Toronto, has evolved into a very hot NYC act. They enjoyed a successful career early on as Celtic rockers, landing high on the Billboard and ITunes world charts. They now tour in support of a new album, Penny Black, called “flawless” by Indiemusic.com and “one of the best albums of 2014” by Global Texan Chronicle.
