Harmony House | Nov. 9 Dennis Stroughmatt & Creole Stomp carry the torch of music and culture from a long tradition of Mississippi River Valley Creole. Blending that with the Cajun and Creole music of South West Louisiana, they’ve crafted their own unique sound. Stroughmatt studied with master fiddlers Roy Boyer and Charlie Pashia, and has performed with the likes of Sheryl Cormier and Cajun Sounds as well as Dexter Ardoin and the Creole Ramblers. In performance, fans are easily drawn to the dance floor and are left screaming for more. Their new CD, released this past May, is Pipeliner’s Blues.
