Private Swim Lessons 1.0
Private Lessons offer an opportunity for your swimmer, or swimmers if they have a sibling of similar skill level, to have the undivided attention of one our swim instructors. Private lessons focus on specific skills that your swimmer(s) are trying to develop. Adult Softball League is back this season! The twelve (12) week league has a men’s division and coed division with one playoff week for top teams in each division. Games will be played at the Central Park Sports Complex and will be scheduled Friday nights. Team Captain should register by enrolling in “Create and Join Team” to pay the team balance in full. Team members should register by enrolling in “Team Registration” if the team has already been created with a password. Free Agents should use “Individual Registration” and submit the Free Agent Form (linked). Summer season will begin [July 19, 2024]. This is our Parent & Me class. A caretaker is required to be in the water with their swimmer at all times. Angelfish students focus on getting comfortable in the water. This class incorporates games and songs to encourage your young swimmers to have fun while in a safe environment. Swimmers become comfortable putting their faces in the water, blowing bubbles, and gliding in the pool.
Minnow (Lvl. 1)
Minnow is our entry level class for children between 4-6 years old. Minnow swimmers focus on basic water skills like how to safely enter and exit the pool, submerging their face in the water, blowing bubbles, kicking and floating on their front and back, all while being supported by an instructor. *No class June 7 and July 4.
Seahorse (Lvl. 2)
Seahorse swimmers are aged 4-6 and are somewhat comfortable in the water and ready to begin exploring. Your swimmers will learn basic skills like floating on their front and back, gliding off the wall, basic kick and arm stroke techniques, and will begin retrieving objects, all with an instructor alongside them.

Dolphin (Lvl. 4)
Dolphin swimmers are intermediate level aged 4-6. Dolphins can swim front crawl, elementary backstroke, regular backstroke, and can tread water without the support of an instructor. In the Dolphin class, Swimmers begin to learn the more advanced strokes such as breastroke, butterfly, and sidestroke, as well as swimming further distances in the more basic strokes.

Clownfish (Lvl. 3)
Clownfish swimmers are aged 4-6 and feel comfortable in the pool without direct support from an instructor. Clownfish are comfortable with floating, retrieving objects, and basic stroke techniques and are ready to begin learning full strokes! Clownfish will learn the front crawl, side-breathing, elementary backstroke, regular backstroke, and how to tread water, all with an instructor alongside them.

Clownfish are comfortable with floating, retrieving objects, and basic stroke techniques and are ready to begin learning full strokes! Clownfish will learn the front crawl, side-breathing, elementary backstroke, regular backstroke, and how to tread water, all with an instructor alongside them.

Dolphin (Lvl. 4)
Dolphin swimmers are intermediate level aged 4-6. Dolphins can swim front crawl, elementary backstroke, regular backstroke, and can tread water without the support of an instructor. In the Dolphin class, Swimmers begin to learn the more advanced strokes such as breastroke, butterfly, and sidestroke, as well as swimming further distances in the more basic strokes. AGES 7-14
Shark (Lvl. 5)
Sharks are aged 7-14 and are our intermediate to advanced swimmers. This class focusses on more advanced skills like breastroke and butterfly, as well as continuing to develop their front crawl and backstroke technique. Sharks will also begin to swim full lengths of the pool in all 4 strokes.
Orca (Lvl. 6)
Orcas are our most advanced swimmers, are age 7-14, and are comfortable swimming all 4 strokes. In the Orca class, swimmers begin swimming multiple lengths of the pool and using advanced techniques like flip turns and pull downs. This class is primarily for those swimmers that want to move into a swim team in the near future.

In Rege’s Soccer academy players are taught age appropriate skills for them to develop proper soccer fundamentals in a fun and encouraging environment. DIY Maker’s Camp
As a Maker, young people will have fun learning to “hack” a solution using odds-and-ends, common household objects, duct tape and other fun things. Have you heard of a Rube Goldberg apparatus, perhaps in an OK GO or YouTube video? It is a deliberately over-engineered machine that performs a simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction. We will also explore making an arcade out of cardboard. Aqua Camp focuses on games, arts and crafts, and waterrelated activities to keep your kids active and engaged this summer. Each week will have an exciting theme to go along with lunch, snack, and camp swim shirt. Trained lifeguards are always on duty. Participants must be comfortable in the water. Life jackets will be provided, with a heavy emphasis on water safety. Please send your camper with a swimsuit, a towel, pair of tennis shoes, change of clothes, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Tennis & All Ball Camp
Campers will learn to play tennis culminating in a friendly team competition on the last day of camp. This camp is run by City of Fremont instructors that have undergone extensive training based on the USTA National Player Development coaching philosophies and methodology. Camp fee includes T-shirt, and lunch will be provided by City of Fremont Catering!
Tennis & Aqua Adventure Camp
One week of tennis, one week at the Aqua Adventure Park! This camp was designed to give your child two different but equally fun experiences at the tennis center and water park! Please be aware that campers will be meeting at different locations for Week 1 and Week 2. Week 1 Location: Fremont Tennis Center. Campers will learn to play tennis culminating in a friendly team competition on the last day of camp. This camp is run by City of Fremont instructors that have undergone extensive training based on the USTA National Player Development coaching philosophies and methodology. Week 2 Location: Aqua Adventure Water Park. For more information, call (510) 494-4300. Aqua Camp pairs aquatic activities with games, and arts and crafts to keep your kids active and engaged this summer. Extended Care is now offered ONLY for Aqua Camp. (PLEASE NOTE: All attractions will be available for the summer.) Each week this summer will have a fun and exciting theme to go along with lunch, snack, and camp t-shirt. Trained lifeguards on duty at all times. Participants must be comfortable in the water. Life jackets will be provided, with a heavy emphasis on water safety. Please send your camper with a swimsuit, a towel, pair of tennis shoes, change of clothes, sunscreen, and a water bottle. There are no refunds for missed classes and make-up classes are not available.

Ultimate Sports Games Camp*
Campers will be placed on teams for the duration of the camp to learn and compete tournament style in a different sport each day. Junior Golf Camp
With years of experience in Junior Golf Camps, instructors/ assistants provide a fun atmosphere for learning golf swing fundamentals, sportsmanship, rules and etiquette. The City of Fremont Counselors-In-Training (CIT) program is an immersive camp experience designed for teens to develop the skills necessary for potential part-time employment with the City of Fremont Recreation Services. Participants work under a qualified director and begin to learn and understand the demands and responsibilities of a camp counselor’s job. Participants have the opportunity to attend weekly workshops focused on professional development and peer learning. Students will accumulate service hours required for graduation (if in high school) and gain valuable leadership skills to add to their resumes and college applications!

Get HANDS-ON experience as a Junior Lifeguard! Youth Service Corps (YSC)
The Youth Service Corps is a hands-on opportunity for teens to take part in fun community service projects while learning the principles of project management, leadership, teamwork, and civic engagement. Each morning participants work as a team to complete community service projects in one of Fremont’s 64 parks. In addition to the service projects, participants can join afternoon workshops to further build on the principles of teamwork and leadership. Students will accumulate service hours required for graduation (if in high school) and gain valuable skills for future employment!
Central Park Extended Care
PM Extended Care is only for participants enrolled in Central Park Camps. Extended care is an option for parents who need care for their children from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A variety of activities will be provided, as well as a snack. Responsible staff will walk children to/from camps within Central Park (this includes Aqua Adventure camps). Pick up will be at the Teen Center in Central Park. Space is limited. Please note - Extended Care is not provided for Golf Camps.

CITY OF FREMONT RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
IN CONSIDERATION OF PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN OR USE ANY CITY OF FREMONT (hereinafter referred to as “City”) FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE CITY OF FREMONT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND AGENTS (hereinafter referred to as “releasees”) from all liability to the participant, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any loss, damage, or claim therefore on account of injury to the person, participant’s family member, or property of the participant, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise, while the participant or participant’s family member is participating in a City activity or using any City facilities in connection with the activity.
2. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, charges, expenses, and attorney fees (including attorney fees to establish the releasees’ right to indemnify incurred on appeal) resulting from involvement in this activity, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise.
3. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to self or participant’s family member while upon City property or participating in the activity or using any City facilities and equipment, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of releasees or otherwise. The participant expressly agrees that the foregoing release and waiver, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion thereof is deemed to be held invalid, notwithstanding, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING and I am aware of the legal consequences of this agreement, including the acknowledgement that it prevents me from suing the City or its employees, agents, or officers, if I or my family member is injured or my property is damaged for any reason as a result of participation in this activity. I further acknowledge that no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made.
IF THE PARTICIPANTS ARE MINORS his or her custodial parent or legal guardian must read and execute this agreement. I hereby warrant that I am the custodial parent or legal guardian of the participants listed on the registration form.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds are allowed if requested up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check.
TRANSFER POLICY
Transfers are allowed up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service.
CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class.
NON-RESIDENT FEES
For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class.
SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. All requests are kept confidential. For more information about scholarships, please visit Fremont.gov and search scholarships. Donations are tax deductible.
