Tennis - Adults Beginner
Introduction to tennis for Adults with no prior instruction and limited play experience. Learn how to rally by week one. The focus of this course will be strokes, rules, and match play.
Tennis - Adults Intermediate
Intermediate tennis for students that have completed the Adult Beginner class or have some tennis experience. This class builds on the stoke production from the beginner class and introduces tactical and match play.
Pickleball 101 Clinic (Beginner)
This is an introduction to pickleball for new players. Over the course of this session players will learn the fundamentals of volleying, serves, rallying, and shot placement. Each hour and a half lesson will consist of 45 minutes of skill development (instruction, drills, etc.), and 45 minutes of play where students will get to test their newfound skills on the court. Equipment will be provided for use during the class, or students may bring their own. Balls will be provided for the class. All lessons are held at the City of Fremont Tennis Center pickleball courts. Sign up today!
Golf - Adult Group Lesson
This class is intended for a player with little or no playing experience. We will focus on the grip, stance, posture, and full swing for both irons and woods. You will also learn the basic fundamentals of the short game and putting. Instructor: Fremont Golf Staff
Adult Softball League
Adult Softball League is back this season! The twelve (12) week league has a men’s division and coed division with one playoff week for top teams in each division. Games will be played at the Central Park Sports Complex. Team Captain should use “Team Registration” to create team to register and pay the team balance in full. Team members should register through “Team Registration” once the team has already been created with a password by selecting from the dropdown list. Free Agents should use “Individual Registration” and submit the Free Agent Form (linked) - individuals will be contacted by a registered Team Manager or a City of Fremont Team Member if able to be placed on a team. Placement is not guaranteed. Winter/Spring Season will begin the week of March 21, 2025. All Managers must register their teams online by February 28, 2025. 10 players per team must be registered online by March 7, 2025. Team Registration fee includes League & Umpire Fees as a whole. Game schedule subject to change due to rainout, air quality, holiday or other unforeseen circumstances.

Nature Tots at the Nursery
Explore the wonders around us and engage in the beautiful, magical world of nature. Children 2-6 years old and their caregivers discover ways to explore nature at California Nursery Historical Park each week. Each session will incorporate nature-themed activities which may include stories, music, movement, vocabulary, literacy, math and science skills, and artistic expression. A walking tour takes us on an adventure, practicing observation, investigation, and inquiry. Participants are encouraged to use the skills learned at this class in their own neighborhood park. Program will take place in an all-outdoors environment. Each group limited to 25 total participants including children, siblings, and adult caregivers.

The City of Fremont is proud to introduce our Pickleball - Beginner Youth Clinic! This activity is meant to introduce children ages 8 and up to one of the fastest growing sports in the country! Our certified coaches will teach kids the fundamentals of the game such as the “kitchen”, ground strokes, volleying, and dinking. Youth Flag Football League
City of Fremont and Fremont Football League are offering Youth Flag Football League for boys and girls ages 7-15. Flag Football is a safe and educational way for youth to enjoy the game of football, while learning sportsmanship, competition, teamwork and the fundamentals. The Winter-Spring season includes the following: 3 weeks of pre-game practices, 8 games of league play, up to 2 weeks of playoffs. Reversible jersey & flag. Teams will practice a minimum of 1 day a week, with coach/team option of holding other practices on their own. Practice participation is required, for the safety of all players. Practice & Game schedule will be set after teams are formed. Register by February 3rd to receive your practice schedule before practices begin the week of February 10th. Be sure to sign up early! Please note: Games are approximately 1.5 hours scheduled on Mondays between 5:30-8:30pm. Practice times may vary on weekday evenings. Puppets and Stories
Puppets are an extension of the self as well as a character. Using puppets while writing stories helps in understanding how a character in a story would think and behave in a given situation. Students will make puppets and create wondrous settings to tell their stories in. You will take home different types of puppets and at least one scene or backdrop to use with your puppets.

Junior Golf Camp
With years of experience in Junior Golf Camps, our instructors/assistants provide a fun atmosphere for learning golf swing fundamentals, sportsmanship, rules and etiquette. By the end of camp, your child will know how to play golf safely with noticeable improvement. $25 material fee per week is due at the course the first day of camp. Please note: Full day campers play the course daily from about 1-2:30 p.m. and should bring a lunch. Bring water and wear sunscreen. Instructor: Fremont Golf Staff

CITY OF FREMONT RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
IN CONSIDERATION OF PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN OR USE ANY CITY OF FREMONT (hereinafter referred to as “City”) FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE CITY OF FREMONT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND AGENTS (hereinafter referred to as “releasees”) from all liability to the participant, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any loss, damage, or claim therefore on account of injury to the person, participant’s family member, or property of the participant, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise, while the participant or participant’s family member is participating in a City activity or using any City facilities in connection with the activity.
2. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, charges, expenses, and attorney fees (including attorney fees to establish the releasees’ right to indemnify incurred on appeal) resulting from involvement in this activity, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise.
3. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to self or participant’s family member while upon City property or participating in the activity or using any City facilities and equipment, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of releasees or otherwise. The participant expressly agrees that the foregoing release and waiver, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion thereof is deemed to be held invalid, notwithstanding, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING and I am aware of the legal consequences of this agreement, including the acknowledgement that it prevents me from suing the City or its employees, agents, or officers, if I or my family member is injured or my property is damaged for any reason as a result of participation in this activity. I further acknowledge that no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made.
IF THE PARTICIPANTS ARE MINORS his or her custodial parent or legal guardian must read and execute this agreement. I hereby warrant that I am the custodial parent or legal guardian of the participants listed on the registration form.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds are allowed if requested up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check.
TRANSFER POLICY
Transfers are allowed up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service.
CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class.
NON-RESIDENT FEES
For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class.
SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. All requests are kept confidential. For more information about scholarships, please visit Fremont.gov and search scholarships. Donations are tax deductible.
