Philosophy By Rog Mogale We employ a no-compromise approach when designing and manufacturing our products. This means that we don't set an upper price limit for the components we use, nor do we build to specific budgetary constraints. Simply stated, our goal is to make the finest products possible. We do that through meticulous engineering and by making use of the best components available, many of which we manufacture ourselves. We employ a team of dedicated craftsmen who assemble our products; we maintain aintai ti tight ht tole tolerances and d even en ha hand-wind d- i d our own inductors and assemble our own PCBs. Very little is out-sourced, giving us numerous advantages. The biggest benefit is that we have total control from the design of the complete product down to the smallest part. We use the right component for the job instead of accepting a compromised off-the-shelf component that might happen to fit, or is ‘close enough.’ The next benefit is accountability. We track all stages of the manufacture of all parts and materials. This allows for a greater level of consistency from unit to unit, and from a design point of view, evolutionary improvements occur rapidly. The third major benefit of keeping manufacturing in-house is cost. By using high levels of automation in our manufacturing processes, we keep our overheads down to a minimum and the cost savings are passed on to our customers. We’ve looked at all the options for manufacturing our products and it didn't take us long to realise that control, accountability, and cost savings when taken alone, were each good enough reasons to avoid out-sourcing and using off-the-shelf components. Taken together, these three factors make Void what it is today. Void systems can be found in many of the largest and most prestigious dance clubs and live concert venues in the world. All of us on the Void team feel deeply honoured to have our work sought after by discriminating sound engineers, system design consultants, hire companies, and the many other audio professionals who lead the industry around the globe. We work very closely with distributors and customers alike, to refine our products and develop concepts for new ones. We class the input from those who use our products very highly, and we apply this knowledge to continually improve all that we do. Company-wide, we take after-sales support seriously and are always happy to liaise with customers and end-users to help them get the best from their purchase. A great deal of Void’s income is spent on R&D. Our new 4,000 square meter s ound research laboratory was completed in 2007 and is now fully operational. It implements some of the most advanced test equipment ever seen and allows complex procedures, such as resonance mapping, to be carried out. Few other facilities in the world can offer the same. I feel a tremendous sense of responsibility and honour in being given the task of heading our new R&D department. Although it is a never-ending challenge to design, innovate, test, evaluate, and re-design… until the highest possible standards have been met… it is an exciting and worthy pursuit. Throughout the company, each of us is willing to go just that bit further than what many others might consider to be ‘good enough.’ I believe it is this atmosphere of professional pride that has made Void such a strong player in the industry, within such a short time. As the principal designer for Void, I strongly believe that a great change is occurring in professional audio. A shift in consciousness has started and expectations are increasing exponentially. I've always believed that products should have an impact both sonically and visually. The fact that many venues spend so much time and money on decor has led me to design products that reflect and relate to their surroundings. Why should such venues have to make do with another ‘black box’ getting in the way? With the ever increasing awareness of the society that we live in, products with enlightened visual appeal will soon become the norm. Such products may take the form of visually striking enclosures intended for clubs and theme parks; transparent Plexiglas enclosures that blend with the architecture of the modern concert hall; or perhaps subtle

design styles that meet the needs of theatres, TV studios, and Houses of Worship. Whatever the challenge, Void will always innovate. By achieving a true blend of sonic excellence with appropriate visual appeal, I am pleased to say that Void can offer solutions, both now and in the future, to all those who wish to break free of traditions.

Air Array is the mid-hi element of the Incubus Club System and unites many ground breaking technologies to deliver the best high level, hi fidelity sound you will ever experience. Its radical looks are not just for show as its form has taken shape from the need to correctly fuse all its sections together to form a coherent radiation pattern over its stated dispersion angles. Line source behavioural conditions have been met by all sections, allowing both frequency and power shading to be utilised within a single enclosure. Such techniques enable SPLs in the near field to be attenuated and matched with those at greater distances, whilst HF absorption can be corrected with linear frequency shading. By employing a line source configuration, Air Array is the only mid-hi enclosure that can provide constant SPL’s at all distances with all frequencies arriving at the same time, wherever you are within its coverage pattern.

Four devices that use a newly developed 3” exit compression driver handle the midrange frequencies. These devices are driven by a massive 6” diaphragm to comfortably reproduce frequencies down to 500Hz. Path length compensation devices have been applied to the wave guides to seamlessly combine their outputs eliminating all destructive interference and to ensure constant output within the stated coverage angles. The HF section uses six esoteric compression drivers with 1” throat wave guides which are positioned on a physical arc to provide a virtual common feed point. This reduces all forms of destructive interference and maintains an even frequency response within every degree of the stated coverage angles. Path length compensation devices housed within the wave guides marry with the extended upper response of the compression drivers allowing the HF to extend all the way up to 26kHz.

A high percentage of the urge to dance comes from the upper bass frequencies. It’s where the kick and finer details of the bass are found. The need for speed and articulation in this critical region calls upon a dedicated enclosure designed with one purpose in mind. Enter the Hyperfold 4 x 15” upper bass enclosure. Quite simply the mother of all kick cabs. Hyperfold’s design has taken many years to conceive and implement. New technologies that have only just arrived have allowed it to exist, because size for size it contains the largest amount of drivers and hence displacement per volume. And it needs all that displacement to keep up with the efficiency of all the other elements that go into making the Incubus System. If the Incubus Sub provides the pulse, Hyperfold is the blood that runs through the entire system. Without it there is no system, no urge to connect with the greater whole, or to become part of the dance.

The Incubus Sub’s structurally challenging design consists of three massive 21” transducers in a hybrid horn bandpass enclosure. A combined power handling of 6000 watts RMS and very high sensitivity result in foundation cracking sub all the way down to 30Hz. Designed to work in conjunction with the Hyperfold upper bass enclosure, the Incubus Sub has been tuned with all forms of dance music in mind. A lightning quick impulse response with small levels of group delay and an in ya face style of presentation combine to make it an unforgettable experience. It’s a total connection with the fundamental frequencies that give dance music its pulse. A connection only obtainable by entire submersion in the purest form of reproduction.

The radical styling of the 6 is born from the innovative internal layout of its 20 transducers. Virtual Arc technology has been implemented on every component to form a common acoustic centre that exists rearwards of the array. This approach disposes of all the disadvantages that compromise a traditional array of multiple sound sources emitting from different locations. Dispersion, phase, coherency and timing can all be controlled and unified because of the common acoustic feed point and multi-channel access. It allows the same experience to be had by all that are in the throw of the Nexus 6, wherever they are due to its wide and controlled dispersion. Total summation of all the components in each passband can also take place within the Nexus 6, allowing for much higher efficiency, greater output and improved reliability due to reduced component stress. The Nexus 6 offers excellent value for money when compared to the array of enclosures normally required to achieve the same dispersion. Whether placed on LF enclosures to form a dance stack or flown independently, the Nexus 6 brings the performance and styling of the future to the here and now.

The revolutionary Air Motion sculpted loudspeaker array sets an entirely new standard in audio aesthetics. Never before has so much style and performance been brought together in perfect harmony. Air Motion comprises three transducers, each loaded by an isometric conical horn. For a long time designers have known about the excellent inherent sound quality of the conical horn. Its propagation is based on the spheroid section and allows for solid radiation angles. The benefits are twofold: (1) Tight beamwidth control is possible, giving higher output and a more defined sound quality due to a decrease in early reflections, and (2) Constant directivity is possible across the horn's entire dispersion, allowing for an exceptionally balanced waveform transmission. The short version is that the end result is astonishing! As with other Air Series enclosures, Air Motion is available in a wide range of custom colours.

The total elimination of energy robbing enclosure resonance has been achieved through the use of super strong composites that include Kevlar and carbon fibre. In addition to providing desirable acoustical properties, these advanced materials have been instrumental in allowing the Airten’s evolved form to emerge. Airten also employs ‘intake protection’ to accurately control and limit excursion. This unique protection circuit is housed within the enclosure and requires no additional outboard processing or powering. The increased headroom available by monitoring the components at source has produced a system capable of output levels normally associated with enclosures over twice the size of Airten. As with other Air Series enclosures, the Airten is available in a wide range of custom colours.

The Air Series has become an iconic part of the modern dance scene. Its philosophy has been adopted all around the world in some of the most well-known dance establishments ever. It’s a sign of quality and an insurance of a good night to be had by all. The latest release in the series, the Tri Motion, extends these principles further, allowing an even larger audience to bathe in the Void experience. The design owes its existence to those who wanted a more compact and daring version of the Air Motion. The call for even higher SPLs and more diversified looks were top of the list when it came to creating the Tri Motion. The rethink on form has also allowed for a wider horizontal dispersion with asymmetrical vertical pattern control, giving even more coverage and reducing early reflections from ceilings to provide higher fidelity. Tri Motion’s extra horsepower has been made possible by a larger transducer for the lower frequencies and more efficient mid-hi sections with greater power handling. A 15” driver has been implemented to cover from 500Hz and below, allowing more SPL and a lower crossover point into the bass range. The mid section features a super efficient horn loaded 8” driver with a high compression ratio and asymmetric loading for pattern control, whilst the HF makes use of diffraction slot loading to provide wide and even coverage in the horizontal plane. For the larger venue requiring cutting edge performance married with art gallery worthy aesthetics, Tri Motion is the only answer. Its creation stems from years of pushing both sonic and creative frontiers from the company that still leads the war on aesthetics.

After discovering the new Stasys X V2 works equally as well in a club environment as on tour, we tackled its aesthetics to create a new club friendly version called the Stasys Xair. When the original Stasys X was introduced, it set new standards in the performance possible from a double 18” low frequency enclosure. It has been used on tours, in live venues, and in world-class night venues all around the world since its introduction 5 years ago. But the time has come to move on and use the latest technologies to advance and refine the design further. This is no mean feat as the first version was very well received and phenomenally successful form a sales point of view. So what’s changed, and what are the improvements? A total rearrangement of the internal resonant chambers has improved the cooling to the extent that no external heat sinks are required, which has also led to a significant decrease in power compression. The system’s transient response, phase response and overall timing capabilities have also been vastly improved by the new internal chamber layout. This has led to a more uniform response in relation to distance and greater behavioural predictability when arrayed. The Stasys Xair uses the latest cone materials, keeping the moving mass low enough to allow optimum transfer efficiency to take place, whilst providing the structural rigidity to maintain that form at all times. This advancement has also meant the transducer’s mechanical parameters are ideally matched to the enclosures internal loading requirements, which has lowered the f3 point and improved the attack characteristics. The Xair version sees the inclusion of an ‘Incubus style’ aluminium bracing system and dual front-facing aluminium Void logos.

Arcline Series Overview Arcline has been developed to give hire companies, touring companies, and installation contractors a choice of line array systems that are capable of exceeding the most demanding requirements. The fundamental design of Arcline has been paved out by many years of research into the needs of our ever changing industry. It was determined early on that a line source with a cylindrical wavefront would best serve the requirements demanded of a modern line source system. To accomplish this, all of the components within each enclosure are physically positioned on an arc. This curved baffle arrangement allows for the components to share a common virtual acoustic centre that exists rearward of the physical array, thus equalising the sound path distances. The benefits are significant; they include constant sound intensity over the stated coverage angles, and greater linearity of the near-to-far-field transition point. The normally poor impulse response that is an inherent problem with line source transmission is also greatly improved by minimizing the path length differences, as well as by the use of our exclusive power tapering technology that's carried out in each enclosure. The Arcline family of products provide a range of no-compromise solutions suitable for system designers, sound consultants, and production companies of all types. In the rental market particularly, versatility must be the overriding priority with any new purchases these days, and the Arcline family of products are as versatile as they come.

Aimed at live performance venues and the touring sector, Arcline 12 takes a new approach to combat the inherent problems which compromise most small and medium format line source enclosures. The idea of forming a line array is to produce a cylindrical wavefront which allows sound to disobey the inverse square law, but this can only occur if certain criteria are met. The major criterion is to ensure that a long enough line of enclosures are coupled to produce a cylindrical wavefront down to around 100Hz, as this would then give the lower frequencies the same decay-per-distance rate as the mid and HF frequencies. But this rarely happens when implementing small and medium format line array systems. The outcome of not forming a long enough line to support lower frequencies is the all too familiar thin sound with a lack of low midrange and upper bass, especially as the distance from the source increases. To rectify this problem, Arcline 12 adds a high efficiency horn loaded low-mid section to assist with low-mid projection. As with its smaller brother the Arcline 6, the 12 also physically positions its components on an arc forming a common virtual acoustic centre. This, teamed up with its 120 degree horizontal dispersion, allows for a very wide and uniform sound coverage free from phase and response abnormalities.

The highly Versatile Arcline 15 is a full range line array enclosure that has been designed with both the touring and installation markets in mind. Its compact dimensions with extended vertical dispersion, wide frequency response and very high output make it a totally unique loudspeaker. With a 25 degree vertical and 120 degree wide dispersion, the Arcline 15 can happily be used in singles and without sub enclosures for many applications including pubs, bars, smaller live venues and clubs. Venues with low ceilings are also a prime candidate for the Arcline 15, its small vertical dimension and controlled dispersion are perfect for such rooms. For the larger live venue, club or theatre, the use of multiple Arcline 15’s with sub enclosures provides a very compact yet high output solution. By adding the touring bumper bar, the Arcline 15 becomes a fully-fledged line source array capable of tacking outside concerts, festival stages, dance events and larger conference productions. Any number of enclosures can be used depending on the output and coverage required. Many smaller events such as acoustics stages etc can use an Arcline 15 array full range and will not need the addition of sub enclosures. By adding subs to an array the possible applications are only limited by your imaginations.

Expanding on the multiple resonant chamber concept as found in the Stasys X, the Arcline X takes an even bigger break from tradition by distilling the technology one step further. Each enclosure offers 140dB peak SPL, whilst an array capable of 150dB peaks occupies a frontal area of only 3 sq meters and can be setup in less than 2 minutes by two people. The radical advance of the multiple resonant chamber technology employed by Arcline X additionally allows a sub 40Hz f3 point, which is unprecedented for an enclosure with a volume of just 300 litres. Careful design consideration of the internal horn paths have resulted in an extended upper response that will accurately reproduce up to 250Hz, permitting a higher crossover frequency than is possible with many other subwoofers. When used with the Arcline 6 or Arcline 12, this higher crossover raises their maximum output level capability and allows far greater projection of the important upper bass frequencies that many small line source's fail to reproduce convincingly. Arcline X additionally features HTT (Heat Transference Technology). A side located heat sink is used to transfer heat from both woofer's voice coils and magnet assemblies, significantly decreasing power compression and improving long term reliability.

Psyco X is the latest addition to Void’s line up of high performance low frequency enclosures. Being the latest has meant it’s got to be special and have some extraordinary specs. A quick glance at its specifications will confirm this. The design features a horn with a length of just over 3.1 meters (10.2 ft), which is about as long as anyone has ever managed to cram into an enclosure with a total volume of just 604 litres. This gives a stack of four enclosures an f3 point of 27Hz with a sensitivity of 112.5dB 1w/1m. Power handling is 6400 watts AES, which equates to a peak output of 154.3dB at 1 meter. The use of such a long horn has given extreme efficiency, a very low f3 with well-behaved transient response and a predictable dispersion pattern when arrayed. Both the predictability and far field projection capabilities of a Psyco X Array have made it the perfect partner for the Arcline 12. These superlative performance specs have only been made possible by a recent development in transducer chassis design that has allowed a sophisticated cooling system to be implemented. All the internal metal chassis parts and magnet structure are bolted to transfer plates and cables that connect to an external heat sink. The transference of heat from the core of the transducer to the outside of the enclosure has led to a world beating reduction in power compression. Measurements taken after a 2 hour test with continuous full power 90% duty cycle source material have confirmed a power compression level of only 1.8dB.

Stasys Series Overview The flagship Stasys Series is the definitive aural arsenal for those with the highest level of audio requirements. Equally at home on the largest tours and in the biggest installations, Stasys always exceeds expectations. With an output-to-size ratio among the highest in the industry, Stasys is fast becoming one of the shrewdest investments you can make. Touring companies using Stasys are discovering they can spec half the size system they normally would, which translates into major savings in transportation and crew costs. Night clubs, music venues and Houses of Worship are all discovering the sonic and economic benefits of installing Stasys. At a time when installation budgets are carefully controlled, investing in products that have the highest levels of output and definition with proven reliability is a top priority. Stasys systems fulfil these criteria and more without breaking the bank. Stasys is characterised by tremendous power output and exceptionally low distortion. The enclosures readily form coherent arrays when used in multiples, retaining their inherently smooth response and musical sonic characteristics. Stasys Series products make use of many of the latest advancements in acoustic design technology. This has only been possible by utilising our extensive R&D facilities and dedicated design team. For example, all X Series products undergo a technique called 'resonance mapping'. Hundreds of small accelerometers are attached to every surface of an enclosure and measurements are taken that allow a 3D colour map of resonant modes and densities to be displayed. This information is then used to determine material selection, pinpoint any problem areas, refine enclosure bracing, and keep structural mass to a minimum while maintaining the highest achievable output with least possible colouration. Stasys loudspeaker systems represent some of the most advanced and refined audio products available in the world today. Audition Stasys and see how it can transform your expectations.

The new 3 way Stasys Prime V2 takes the point source concept to new levels with its extended low frequency performance, groundbreaking efficiency, and unprecedented output power. Most traditional point source enclosures can only be used above 100Hz and require the addition of LF enclosures that have enough speed and agility to cope with the demanding upper bass band. Stasys Prime negates the need of such LF enclosures, as its extended LF response allows it to be used with true dedicated subwoofers. This has the added benefit of not producing an awkward aural transition from the flown array to the typically ground-stacked subs. Stasys Prime V2 has been designed so that lossless summation between adjacent enclosures takes place effortlessly. This seamless transition from enclosure to enclosure within the array greatly improves intelligibility and phase coherency. Array efficiency is radically increased as well, as Stasys Prime enclosures provide true acoustic addition instead of destructive interference. The maximum continuous output level per enclosure is extremely important with any point source array, as each section of the venue is predominantly covered by a single array element. Each Stasys Prime is capable of a continuous output of 142dB, allowing the total array to be surprisingly small for a given application. The tightly controlled dispersion pattern means that more energy can be directed where it's needed, at the listener, instead of needlessly exciting the reverberant field. Because of this, Stasys systems are especially effective in difficult acoustical environments such as sports facilities, houses of worship, and other highly reverberant spaces.

Designed specifically for demanding live performance applications, the Stasys 5 Mk2 expands the boundaries of low frequency sonic bombardment. Suitable for use on the largest tours or in the biggest arenas, the Stasys 5 mk2 utilises numerous innovations to produce low frequency output with previously unheard of impact. One such innovation harnesses some of the energy that would normally be dissipated in the rear chamber; this is accomplished by firing the transducer onto an aluminium pressure plate. The plate's restoring force is then reflected back onto the transducer, resulting in a substantial increase in transient response and efficiency. Using an actively driven element with a passively fed radiator, with gain, has analogies to a bass or kick drum, where one of the two heads is hit whilst the other is tuned to a different frequency. To gain the most from this arrangement a specially designed transducer with an asymmetrical offset suspension has been implemented. As with all premium Void enclosures, the use of resonance mapping has resulted in an extremely rigid structure with very low colouration. The output power-to-weight ratio is near the theoretical limit with the overall weight being one of the lightest in the industry. And finally, the Stasys 5 Mk2 uses Coolwave ™ technology to reduce thermal compression to an absolute minimum while ensuring that consistently high output levels are maintained throughout the longest performances.

The Stasys 3 mk2 mid-hi touring enclosure is designed to give system operators a quick and simple solution to large scale sound reinforcement. Each enclosure comes with a multiple point Aero-track flying system allowing quick system setups and accurate arraying. The design is the distillation of a lifetime's work. Most of the technology incorporated in the Stasys 3 mk2 has never been attempted before and is a radical departure from the norm. At the heart of the design is the 'Waveformer'. Sound waves enter the horn at varying distances from the transducer via the centrally mounted Waveformer. The distance depends on the frequency and also the radiation pattern of the transducer. New types of transducers were developed that emit different frequencies from different locations around their radiation surface. These locations are then channeled to the Waveformer and emitted at a precise distance down the horn. The benefits of Waveforming are enormous. All frequencies reach the horn mouth at exactly the same time so that phase cancellation is virtually eliminated. The result is an extremely flat and uniform response with a very wide bandwidth in each band. Dispersion characteristics are radically improved as well, due to the Waveformer's refraction grid which reduces HF beaming significantly. The well-defined and tightly controlled dispersion pattern means that more energy can be directed where it's needed, at the listener, instead of needlessly exciting the reverberant field. Because of this, Stasys systems are especially effective in difficult acoustical environments such as sports facilities, houses of worship, and other highly reverberant spaces.

Stasys X set a new standard in the performance possible from a double 18” low frequency enclosure. It has been used on tours, in live venues, and in world-class night venues all around the world since its introduction 5 years ago. But the time has come to move on and use the latest technologies to advance and refine the design further. This is no mean feat as the first version was very well received and phenomenally successful form a sales point of view. So what’s changed? And what are the improvements? A total rearrangement of the internal resonant chambers has improved the cooling to the extent that no external heat sinks are required, which has also led to a significant decrease in power compression. The systems transient response, phase response and overall timing capabilities have also been vastly improved by the new internal chamber layout. This has led to a more uniform response in relation to distance and greater behavioural predictability when arrayed. The Stasys X V2 uses the latest cone materials keeping the moving mass low enough to allow optimum transfer efficiency to take place, whilst providing the structural rigidity to maintain form at all times. This advancement has also meant the transducers mechanical parameters are ideally matched to the enclosures internal loading requirements, which has lowered the f3 point and improved the attack characteristics. Sprayed with our brand new ‘TourCoat’ polyurea finish, the Stasys X V2 also features new truck pack friendly dimensions and universal location receptors that allow interlocking and mating with adjacent enclosures regardless of their orientation.

In an ever changing financial climate the search for cost effective solutions becomes paramount. Many compromise and turn to more traditional designs to avoid breaking the bank, but traditional doesn’t always have to mean compromise. Enter the Stasys 218, a low frequency enclosure built around traditional principles but designed with Stasys philosophy and attention to detail. To abstract the maximum performance from the design the heart of the 218’s enclosure was subjected to the same resonance mapping procedures as all other Stasys low frequency models. This practice has dictated the type of materials used around the enclosure, optimised the brace positioning and minimised destructive nodal conditions. All of this adds up to a structurally superior housing with minimum mass, the least possible amount of cabinet born coloration and vastly increased output. Transducer selection and integration is also critical when it comes to reflex enclosure design, so months of comparative testing and evaluation led to the birth of a new 18” transducer for the Stasys 218. The sonic properties of differing cone and surround combinations were studied as well as differing coil topographies. Flux intensities and out of band abnormalities were also manipulated until the perfect combination was achieved and our ears were happy. For those that demand state of the art performance at a realistic price level, a new contender has arrived. It’s the marriage of a technologically advanced enclosure with esoteric performing transducers applied with superlative tuning techniques that has resulted in a phenomenal package that has well and truly left tradition behind.

The Stasys 4 is a versatile enclosure designed to function in more than one role. Equipped with multiple fly points, it is equally at home as a foldback monitor on a large tour, as it is when used for a Front of House application in a smaller venue. The Stasys 4 uses a 1.5" compression driver on a conical waveguide coupled with a very robust 15" woofer. Our research uncovered the limitations in conventional HF horn design. A conical waveguide was found to give the best off-axis rejection and constant coverage within its dispersion; both of these points are critical for high level foldback use. The Stasys 4 can be switched between its high quality internal passive crossover or driven in a two-way active mode, depending on the application requirements. All Stasys enclosures come complete with padded road covers, while a series of optional accessories allow for versatile rigging and portability. We recommend our Livedrive 4 in 8 out system controller for use with all Stasys products.

Armalite Series The Armalite series of amplifiers have been created to provide the ultimate power tools for the professional user. Years of comparative listening, evaluation, and pure R&D have resulted in a very robust range of amplifiers. A multitude of different power supply and output stage configurations were rigorously tested until the ultimate sonic accuracy and power-to-weight ratio was arrived upon. Our research definitively determined the sonic importance of a high-current supply, so our engineers designed and built a range of PSUs capable of delivering a vastly higher amount of current than required. In a professional product, long term reliability is every bit as important as sonic quality, and it is this mandate that led to an intensive search for the best possible components throughout. The result of this lengthy development project is a line of power amplifiers that exhibit unparalleled sound quality with the utmost reliability. By using a state-of-the-art super high-frequency switch modulated power supply, efficiency levels are extremely high, heat dissipation is low, and weight is kept to a minimum. Both Class D and Class H topologies are utilised across the range which increases the configuration possibilities depending on application. Where pure power and efficiency are required, 5th generation class D topology is incorporated with a highly developed and versatile PFC universal 20 KW PSU. For less demanding applications that require high sonic purity class H topology is used but still coupled to an advanced and flexible PFC power unit.

The Digidrive V2 is a fully featured loudspeaker management system featuring audiophile grade 24 bit A/D & D/A converters. Mixed mode architecture has also been implemented on the Digidrive V2 with the latest 64 bit processors powering each device. The combination of 64 bit processors and the highest grade converters has allowed for an unsurpassed bandwidth spanning from 5Hz to 45kHz with mastering studio levels of definition. Up to 6 outputs can be derived from either or a sum of the 4 inputs via matrix mixing. This allows any input to be mixed at any level to any output. Inputs A & B are analogue whilst inputs C & D are Digital AES/EBU and can accept any clock speed all the way up to 192kHz. All of the inputs and outputs feature HP and LP filters that can be set anywhere between 20Hz – 20kHz. Filter types can be Bessel, Butterworth, or Linkwitz-Riley. The transparent sounding output limiters feature predictive attack with adjustable threshold and release to provide maximum protection to loudspeaker drive units, whilst a fully adjustable studio grade compressor can be applied to each input channel for even greater control. All input and output channels feature 10 bands of EQ with -48 to +12dB of gain, filter types can be bell, notch, allpass, high shelf or low shelf. Each EQ can also be bypassed, allowing for instant comparison. The Digidrive V2 can be connected to a PC via USB or its Ethernet connection for full external control via the supplied Live Link software. Each Digidrive can also be assigned its own IP address allowing multiple units to work on a network. A choice of 5 languages can be displayed for front panel editing.
