RULES AT GLANCE

Common

Drive down the entrance road and into the parking lot with care. Watch for carts, people, and signage.

· Always treat all members and staff with courtesy. Any issues or concerns with a team member should be directed to club management.

· Guests are to be accompanied by their host-member when on the property.

· Pets are not permitted on club grounds unless they are certified emotional support dogs

· All cars will be locked and keys in the care of valet.

· Cell phones are a No Ring / No Talk policy. Audible calls may only be made outside of the clubhouse and outside of the pool gates.

· Smoking/vaping is not permitted at the Clubhouse, tennis courts, pool facility, and golf practice facilities.

· If the lighting detection system alerts, all members, and guests must leave the golf course, tennis courts, and pool decks immediately and shelter in the Clubhouse.

General Dress Code Rules

· For all club functions, the required dress code will be posted on the monthly club calendar.

· Special invitations and flyers emailed to the membership will also indicate the proper dress code for special functions.

· Members are responsible for advising their guests on the proper dress code for each event and all member dining.

· Children except those under the age of 6 must adhere to the same dress code as adults.

· Proper and appropriate attire is required at Fresh Meadow. Slacks, Bermuda-length shorts, collared shirts as well as blue jeans, and uncollared shirts of good taste are permitted in the common areas of the clubhouse and grill room. Swimming attire is permitted only at the pool area or in the locker room (including open-toed shoes for men) but no other area of the clubhouse.

· Similarly, fitness center attire is never permitted in the clubhouse other than the locker room and the fitness center.

Attire/ Dress Code

· CASUAL (C) (The default dress code): Slacks, Bermuda length shorts, collared shirts (untucked permitted) as well as blue jeans and uncollared shirts of good taste are permitted. Men no hats are allowed in the dining areas.

· CASUAL ELEGANCE (CE): Slacks, collared shirts (untucked permitted) as well as blue jeans of good taste are permitted, lifestyle sneakers are allowed but not athletic shoes.

· ELEGANCE (E): Slacks and a tucked-in collared shirt are required.

· JACKET REQUIRED (JR): Sports Jacket and tucked-in collared oxford-style shirt are required.

Golf

· Members and guests will not be permitted on the Golf Course improperly dressed. The practice facilities, practice green, and chipping areas are considered part of the golf course. The dress code applies year-round:

▪ MEN: Shirts with collars, turtlenecks, and mock turtlenecks tucked into their pants.

▪ Full-length pants, shorts (to the knee).

▪ Proper golf footwear. No metal spikes or sneakers, No “street shoes”.

▪ Caps and visors must be worn with bills facing forward.

▪ WOMEN: Golf-style shirts, Pants, skirts, or golf shorts, No metal spikes. Course care is not optional. Members must fix divots, ball marks, and bunker prints. Golf carts are never to be within forty feet of a tee or green unless on a path. Enter and exit all bunkers from the flat side, not the sloped areas. Caddies must be used when available.

No guest shall play more than two times per month or six times in any calendar year irrespective of the number of members who may invite such guest.

Range balls are not permitted to be taken and used on the golf course

All 18-hole rounds should be completed within 4 hours and nine holes within 2 hours.

· You may not go ahead of another foursome without asking for that group’s

· permission or having been instructed to do so by the Starter

Dining

· No Hats allowed in the dining rooms or men’s Grill Room.

· Adhering to your reservation and seating time is paramount to proper service and food delivery times. If attending cocktail hour go early prior to reservation and ensure you are sitting at your reserved time in the dining area.

· If you are not dining or have completed dining, you may be asked to relocate if the dining tables are needed for the service of other members or invited guests.

· Reservations are mandatory for all dinners and events.

Racquets

· Do not cut across courts to reach your own. Walk the perimeter. Proper court attire, including shoes designed for Har-tru surfaces must be worn. No guest shall play more than two times per month or four times in any calendar year irrespective of the number of members who may invite such guest. Reservations are to be made through our FourTees program.

Pool

No changing of diapers anywhere on the deck. Utilize the changing rooms. Children under the age of three must wear a swim diaper with plastic pants. No running, horseplay, or games of catch.

Cards

· All guests and members must sign in each day prior to card play.

· No guest shall play on more than one day per week for a maximum of twelve visits from May 1st to Sept 30th, irrespective of the number of members who may invite such guests.

· Any non-member may only be the invited guest of a current member in good standing and must play at the same table.
