In his own words The basic idea for LP Circle were born out of the experience with the Ørestad School OreLED fixture. Mikkel Beedholm of KHR arkitekter explains the design idea: “The aim was for the fixture to not simply slice through the ceiling like a tin can – we wanted the collar to give the fixture character and interplay with the building’s architecture, adding an extra dimension to the interior through randomised reflection of the light. The choice of colours has also been unusual for a ceiling fixture. The coloured rings improves the effect of reducing glare and highlighting the shape of the luminaire. They also add colour to what are often colourless rooms, in both their lit and unlit state.”

Product series LP Circle has been developed to meet all the challenges which can arise when planning lighting. One could almost think of it as a lighting tool, however this does not tell the complete story. LP Circle is a ceiling lighting system which goes further than simply fulfilling practical needs. LP Circle is permeated by the Louis Poulsen attitude to light, which focuses on optimising human well-being in indoor environments. High Output (HO) / High Efficiency (HE) LP Circle Ø450 features high output/high efficiency, which makes it possible to achieve an efficiency of up to 108lm/W. In addition, a prismatic version is available with a UGR <19. Contact LP for additional information.

Considered and designed, to the finest detail Easy and convenient mounting. A newly developed mounting bracket allows the fixture to be installed without the use of tools. The ergonomically correct shape makes it simple and easy to install. Ceiling interface. A polycarbonate ring with a dust-repellent shape ensures a precise and elegant ceiling interface. Diffuser The diffuser has an opal finish to prevent LED â&#x20AC;&#x2122;hot spottingâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; and direct glare, while still permitting high-efficiency light distribution with-

out significant energy loss. The depth of the diffuser to the bottom section of the trim ring is identical on all versions, paving the way for a uniform design idiom and lighting design on the ceiling. The diffuser bends 3 mm towards the trim ring, which creates an optical effect of two separate elements. Elegant trim ring The voluminous trim ring is made of aluminium which has been bent perpendicular to the ceiling, and angles outwards at 5Â° from the diffuser to the bottom edge. This results is an attractive graduation of the light on the shade interior.

Colours Colours create a different atmosphere. Colours create magic. Reflection in window panes, the break with the white ceiling surface, help create extra dimension around the interior. LP Circle is available in the standard colours red, white, black and light blue.

Installation 1. Connect the separate LED driver to the power source and control signal, and attach to the ceiling. 2. Place the suspension module inside the fitted hole in the ceiling. 3. Attach the suspension module to the ceiling by pushing the suspension module towards the ceiling and tightening the terminal from above. 4. Connect the fixture unit to the LED driver. 5. Push the fixture unit all the way up inside the suspension module. 6. Turn the fixture unit in a clockwise direction and secure the suspension module using the four gripper mountings.
