Friends University has announced an expansion for the Art Department in the Delano Historic District of Wichita. Art
students will be able to display their work in an on-site art gallery. The two buildings are only a few blocks away from the Friends Wichita campus. The Wichita Prairie Fire Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. Friends students, parents, alumni, donors, employees and friends of Friends are encouraged to participate in the Run With Friends team. Friends is making an effort to highlight Friends University in the community and promote a healthy lifestyle. Another very important benefit Friends University has for alumni is an online job database system called Symplicity. A diverse array of positions and opportunities are posted on Symplicity ranging from part time work, full time work, internships, co-ops, and seasonal. Internships and co-ops are a great path to full time employment with a employer where you want to start your business career. The link to Symplicity is https://friends-cms. symplicity.com. Additional information is available by emailing career@friends.edu. Please send me your career change, job promotions, family updates (births, marriage, moving to another city or state, etc.) that you would like to share.
