Greetings fellow EMBA and MBA alumni! I hope you all had a joyous holiday season. For me the holidays are a time to be thankful for all the blessings I have in my life, and a time to reconnect with family and friends. It’s also a time to reflect on the past year and set new goals for the upcoming year. A new year always holds promise of new opportunities and new adventures. We heard from several alumni who shared what they have been doing: •
Kurt Richardson, G’99/M’04 EMBA/MBA Class Agent krichardson123@cox.net You are invited to the inauguration of President Dr. T.J. Arant.
Lacy McCully, G’08/M’10, has been accepted to Texas Wesleyan School of Law for fall 2011 with an academic merit scholarship.
•
Ryan Ausmus, M’08, is working at the Dodge City Community College and is also the pastor of Ford Community Church in Ford, Kan.
•
Isaac Norton, M’10, and his wife had their second daughter Dec. 19, 2010. Isaac was also promoted to the customer experience manager at Aviva in December 2010.
•
Marc Rhoades, M’00, is wondering where his classmates from the EMBA class of 2000 are. Let me know if you are
one of these graduates and I will post your updates in our next class newsletter.
Sadly, we have also lost one of our classmates. Marcia Traylor, M’92, passed away Feb. 14, 2011. I would like to hear what is new with you and share your personal and professional accomplishments with our network of fellow EMBA / MBA graduates. Send me an email and I will be happy to include your news in the next class newsletter. Also, just a few reminders: Anyone living in Kansas who is interested in applying for a Friends University license plate or who may want more information can find more information online at www.friends.edu/kansas-license-plates.
