Interested in volunteering to write for this class newsletter? Please contact the Alumni Office. You are invited to the inauguration of President Dr. T.J. Arant.

Greetings to all our alumni that graduated from the Marketing undergraduate program! We here in the Alumni Office are always excited to hear from you and what you have been doing since you finished your degree. More importantly, we are looking for someone who would like to volunteer to write for this class newsletter. The whole purpose of the class newsletter is to give our alumni an opportunity to network with one another, no matter where you live or where you work while still keeping in contact with Friends. The duties are minimal and the benefits are well worth the time invested into writing the class newsletter. If you are interested or would like more information before making the commitment, please send an email to alumni@friends.edu. (Unfortunately, if we do not find that there is any interest by our Marketing alumni to stay connected, we will discontinue this newsletter. Please help us keep this newsletter a worthwhile part of your experience at Friends University!) Exciting things are happening at Friends University this spring! For those of you who reside in the Wichita area, mark your calendars for the 14th Annual Chili Cookoff. This year’s event takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012. It’s a fun

time to come back to campus, enjoy some free food and vote for your favorite chili and booth theme. Be sure to stick around for the basketball games later that same night. Speaking of Falcon athletics, for a list of upcoming games and locations (both on campus and abroad), please feel free to visit www.friendsathletics.com. If you live in the northeast part of Kansas, be sure to check out the 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt in Topeka on March 31, 2012, or the Alumni Day at the T-Bones Baseball Game in Kansas City (date to be announced later this spring). And no matter where you live in Kansas, if you’d like information about obtaining a Friends University license plate, visit www.friends.edu/kansas-license-plates. As always, you can keep the Alumni Office posted of your endeavors by completing the information on the top of page 2 of this newsletter and mailing it back to us. Best wishes for a blessed new year and we look forward to hearing from you in 2012!
