Teachers, did you know that preschoolers laugh approximately 450 times per day and an adult only 15 times a day? How many times do you laugh, giggle, or even grin in a given day? This class can provide a roadmap to put more laughter, joy, and humor in your life. Patch Adams, whose mirthful medicine is featured in the powerful movie starring Robin Williams, knows the inner side of healing. The movie reminds us that some of the most important factors in healing are not high-tech marvels but ordinary factors such as love, compassion, friendship, and hope. This class of using humor in your life and in the classroom is not about joke telling. This course is to help you reactivate and experience the healing power of laughter, joy and humor and will give you the prescription to help yourself and others feel healthier and happier.
