Where is the Master of Arts in Teaching offered? We offer adult-focused master’s degrees in Wichita, Topeka, greater Kansas City area and online. Not all courses and programs are available in all locations or in both online and on-campus formats. Please check with your Admissions Counselor for more details.
How many credit hours will it take to complete the program? Each three-credit course is offered in an eight-week session, with on-campus courses meeting one night a week. The Master of Arts in Teaching degree requires 30 credit hours.
Is the program accredited? Yes. All Friends University undergraduate and graduate degrees are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. Additionally, education degrees at Friends University are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Will I be required to take a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)? No. Neither test is required for entrance into graduate programs at Friends University. All graduate programs require a pre-admissions interview with the program director.
