Master of Science in Environmental Studies You will learn‌ Examine the science and the issues in this interdisciplinary program that explores human interaction with the environment and interest in solving complex problems. Your courses will encompass environmental science, ethics, politics, law, planning pollution control and natural resource management. Where is the Master of Science in Environmental Studies offered? This degree is offered in Wichita.
How many credit hours will it take to complete the degree? Each four-credit course is offered in an eight-week session, with courses meeting one night a week and an occasional Saturday. The Master of Science in Environmental Studies degree requires 40 credit hours.
Is the degree accredited? Yes. All Friends University undergraduate and graduate degrees are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
Will I be required to take a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)? No. Neither test is required for entrance into graduate programs at Friends University. All graduate programs require a pre-admissions interview with the program director.
