Collage is a great way to incorporate more art into your elementary classroom with little effect on your budget. You will learn what materials to use (some of which you might even already have,) techniques, and how to really bring out your students’ creativity. Your students’ classwork will be hallworthy for sure!

Good organization skills help to eliminate many factors that can cause teacher and student stress, both professionally and personally; also, organized information is easier to register and recall from memory. Learn to diminish distractions and remain focused on the task at hand. Topics that will be addressed are organizing your room, paper and life, to brain and organizational techniques for reaching every learner. You will receive ideas and techniques enabling you to take action immediately, as well as a valuable collection of reproducible classroom forms and sheets.

T3 iPads in the Classroom Instructor: Bret Klankey

Blended Course Dates: Meet 10/13 (9 am-4:30 pm), weekly online sessions until 11/3

In this workshop, participants will develop lesson plans using iPads that target Common Core Standards for their subject and grade level or state standards for their subject, if not part of the Common Core. Emphasis will be on using creativity in a project-based learning environment. Participants will need to bring their own iPads. WiFi access will be provided during the workshop. This course is a blended class; participants will meet on site one time and work the remainder of the time using Moodle.
