You teach all day, volunteer all night, and go home to the demands of a busy family and homework to grade. Talk about Stress with a capital S! This is definitely not what you had in mind when you decided to teach. This workshop will introduce effective stress-reduction and stress-elimination techniques that you can use both personally and in the classroom. Do something for you, for a change, and take this workshop!

Organized information is easier to register and recall, while brain organizational techniques enable you to reach every learner. You will receive a valuable collection of reproducible classroom forms and sheets, ideas, and techniques enabling you to organize your room, papers, and LIFE.

Lenexa Workshop Offerings L1. Making Project-Based Learning Work Instructor: Patricia Jordan Course #: EDUC 5067-02 Dates: 2/22 (5 pm-9 pm) and 2/23 (8 am-5:30 pm)

1 credit Level: 4-8 Location: Lenexa

Learn the effective components of project-based learning (PBL) and the research behind it, as well as how to adapt activities for the learning style and level of the individual student. Come learn how to write plans for PBL that both challenge students and meet the Common Core State Standards for their grade level. Participants will prepare PBLs to use immediately in the classroom.
