Editor’s Message What’s up Franklin Monsters! Election season is officially upon us as we just elected our new D7S LTG! Congrats to Chigo Estonilo!! This also signifies the start of the election process here at our home club. For me, being part of the board has been a pivotal experience in my high school career and I met so many amazing driven people on top of furthering my own skills. Even if you run and don’t receive the position, the experience is so valuable. I highly encourage everyone to consider running for one of the five positions, and don’t be scared because everyone here in our club is truly only supportive of each others’ journeys. I hope to see some impressive presentations at elections, but until then, let’s keep on serving as per usual monsters!

President’s Message Hi FRKC monsters! January was a month full of service! We made pb&j sandwiches for the homeless, organized a clothing donation drive, and successfully hosted a fun interclub with COKC. As this month is wrapping up, I would like to thank everyone for their contributions in service, fundraisers, and our monthly events throughout the term. I feel extremely grateful to have been your president for the 23’-24’ year :) For the month of February, we will mostly be focusing on the election process and prepping for the upcoming board. I hope to see many of you guys apply for positions on the board and don’t forget to keep donating clothes, register for DCON, and keep updated with the election process!

PB&J Making with Kiwanis Once again, Franklin Key Club hosted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich making service event for the homeless with our Kiwanis branch. We are so happy with the turnout and thanks to our willing Key Clubbers, we produced over a hundred sandwiches which were donated to a local homeless shelter! Also, thank you so much to our Kiwanis advisor Mr. Shimada, and our faculty advisor, Mrs. Ilsley, for helping us out! We couldn’t have done it without you!

FRKC x COKC Interclub Through the efforts of our FRKC and COKC boards, we are so happy with the turnout of the interclub. From the raffle to the color a smile service projects, we all bonded and had a blast together at this interclub!
