Helping Stacie Silent Auction and Art Sale to Benefit Stacie Mincher!

Many of you are familiar with Frog Hollow artist Stacie Mincher. Her quirky jewelry and unique designs have been a part of Frog Hollow for close to a decade. Stacie, often called "The Zipper Lady" by her friends and customers, is currently recovering from complications during a surgery she had on Monday, January 11th to remove a pituitary tumor. The surgeon nicked an artery and she suffered a stroke. After spending a week in critical care ICU at Dartmouth-Hitchcock under an induced coma, she is awake and making progress and is currently at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Rehab where she is now undergoing an intense rehab schedule. Stacie is young and strong. She will beat this and be back zippering to support herself, but it may take six months or longer.

On February 20, Frog Hollow will host a fundraising event to help Stacie maintain her residence in Rutland that she purchased two and a half years ago by retrofitting it for handicapped accessibility and to financially defer her monthly bills and medical expenses. The event will be an all day silent auction and art sale in the gallery. From 5-7 PM we will host an auction closing event with live bluegrass music by Random Notes and hard cider sampling made available from Champlain Orchards (full pours will be available for purchase as well!).

This catalog serves as a preview of some of the items to be available at the February 20 Silent Auction and “Pink Zipper” sale. Silent Auction items may be bid on digitally by sending an email with the item information and your maximum bid to info@froghollow.org. Frog Hollow will add your information to each of the auction sheets. Due to staffing limitations we will only be able to accept these bids through noon on February 20th, 2016. After that all online and phone bids will be closed while bidding will remain open through the evening activities. Any shipping fees will be assessed following the end of the auction.
