Covering five of the seven continents, we have escorted clients on trout fishing trips in Montana, Argentina, Chile, Spain and New Zealand; saltwater fishing trips to Christmas Island, Bahamas, Belize and Mexico; followed Africa’s majestic animal populations on a photographic safari and participated in the occasional cast and blast in Alaska. If fly fishing and wingshooting are not high on your list, we also offer an array of exclusive leisure activities each year. Past trips included The Galapagos Islands, India, Myanmar (Burma), Chile, Egypt and the Asian Subcontinent. About Barry & Cathy Beck Longtime Frontiers trip hosts and photographers, the Becks travel far and wide to follow their love for fly-fishing and nature photography. Based in Pennsylvania, Barry and Cathy write books, lead African photo safaris, and operate a stock photography business. The Becks are well-known in the fishing, photography, and travel industries, and possess a stellar reputation for their skill, knowledge, and expertise born out of a 20 year career. Their most recent books include Cathy Beck’s Fly Fishing Handbook, now in its third edition; Fly Waters Near and Far, a coffe table book of photographs, and a soon-to-bereleased book on Alaska.

Saturday, August 20 Arrive at the Billings Logan Airport. Upon your arrival at the Billings Airport, please claim your bags and proceed to the waiting area by the Visitor’s Information Booth. Barry and Cathy Beck will meet and transfer you to the lodge (approximately a 90-minute drive). You will depart the airport no later than 2:30 PM. Note: Please plan on stopping along the way for any libations (beer/wine/hard alcohol) you may wish to have during your stay as the lodge does not provide alcoholic beverages. At the lodge, you will be shown to your accommodations and given a brief orientation. After dinner, enjoy your first night at Kingfisher Lodge. Cell Phone and Internet Service: There is some cell phone service at the lodge, which improves every year. Kingfisher Lodge has a computer and printer in the business center for guests’ use during their stay and wireless internet is available throughout the lodge. Sunday, August 21 - Friday, August 26 Enjoy six full days of fly fishing on the Bighorn River. Breakfast is provided each morning with lunch served streamside daily. Upon completion of fishing each day, dinner will be served. Enjoy continued overnight accommodations at Kingfisher Lodge. Saturday, August 27 After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Billings Logan Airport to check in for your return flight. Depart Billings.
