What to expect
An eclipse is a glorious cosmic occurrence resulting from the Moon and Sun being the same apparent size in the sky that reveals the unseen Solar corona and brilliant red prominences. A total Solar eclipse occurs only about once every 18 months, and because the path of shadow of the Moon projected onto the Earth is very narrow, a total eclipse occurs with a narrow band across the Earth’s surface. Unless one is fortunate to be in this path, it is necessary to travel to chase the eclipse. You can be there in Spain to enjoy a wonderful program that will explore the Pyrenees in northern Spain, with amazing scenery, food, wine, and the witness the eclipse.
The next total Solar Eclipse in 2026 will have a path from Greenland, across the southern tip of Iceland, and then across the ocean before transiting across northern Spain. Spain has the best weather predictions optimizing the potential for seeing the eclipse.
The eclipse will occur late in the day with Sun close to the horizon, when an eclipse is low in the sky, the colors of the Moon's shadow and the surrounding sky can be unworldly, vivid oranges and yellows, deep blue and purple, an eclipse sunset unlike any other.

AUG 9, Overnight Flight to madrid

aug 11, travel to monasterio de piedra
10 am pick up in Madrid and three hours ground transportation in a minibus to Monasterio de Piedra where you will be greeted with a welcome lunch. Afterwards you will be trained on taking proper eclipse photos with Location Scouting. Dinner and Overnight Stay in Monasterio de Piedra, Nuévalos.
aug 12, Eclipse day
Eclipse Day in Nuévalos. Cultural tour into the Park and into the Monastery. Lunch in a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay in Monasterio de Piedra.
aug 13, travel to zaragoza
One hour ground transportation to Zaragoza, check in Gran Hotel, Tubo tapas tour and Goya Museum visit. Free-relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Gran Hotel, Zaragoza.
aug 14, explore zaragoza
Guided visit to El Pilar and La Seo cathedrals. Free-relaxing midday and afternoon for shopping if desired, dinner from a private restaurant with best night views of El Pilar Cathedral.
aug 15, travel to somontano de barbastro
One hour transportation to Somontano de Barbastro, private wine touring and tasting menu & wine pairing. One hour transportation to lodge in the Pyrenees.
aug 16-18, Three days of guided activities
Three days of guided activities, including Cultural Tours, Nature and Photography Excursions, and relaxing wellness programs.
aug 19, Travel to Barcelona
Leave the Pyrenees and travel to Barcelona, with three hours transportation.

DEPOSIT REFUND POLICY : A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the land cost is due at time of reservation. Balance payable at time of final land package invoicing. Final / full payment is also non-refundable unless client replacement is provided.
