We would like to thank you for taking the time to look at HWI Gear, Inc. Although a new “brand” to the market, I’m sure, by now, most of you know who we are. My brother and I grew and developed a small family business into the number one glove supplier to the law enforcement and military markets. When my brother decided to retire in 2003 we had an opportunity to sell our company, and so we did in December of 2003. He retired and I stayed on assisting in the development of product for the company that acquired us. I left the employment of our former company in 2007. A legitimate question is, “Why have we returned to the market under a new brand?” We take tremendous pride in the product that we brought to the market. With over 34 years experience with designing and manufacturing, we believe we have the expertise, background, and ability to oﬀer a quality product, functional designs, in-stock status, value pricing, and responsive customer service. We feel strongly the end user who is putting his or her life on the line deserves this level of support. Over the past 8 years, we have had the privilege of partnering with the U.S. Army in providing combat gloves to our soldiers operating in harm’s way on foreign soil. We have supplied large quantities of gloves that have been battle tested, in the ﬁeld. Some of these designs have found their way into our line of tactical gloves. We deliver solid performance, innovative designs, competitive prices, and availability, backed by 34 years of experience. SPECIALITY GLOVES K-9 HANDLER GLOVE This specialized glove features ergonomic “contour cut” design coupled with the strongest Clarino synthetic leather base and the most abrasive resistant KAR (Clarino) palm reinforcement. This glove will work as hard as the canines you handle. The palm design wraps around the outer portion and inner portion of hand and the design has enough minute gaps to allow for superior dexterity. The index finger is reinforced but still allows positive firearm control. All unique design features are the result of cooperation from K-9 officers. The back is a comfortable stretch polyester. The whole glove is 100% washable.
