Frost Valley YMCA Day Camp Frost Valley YMCA offers a safe, fun, affordable Day Camp for children living in our local communities as well as families staying in the area for the summer. Our Day Camp activities are based on healthy, hands on activities that help children grow in spirit, mind and body, as well as embrace the 8 core values of Frost Valley YMCA: caring, community, diversity, honesty, inclusiveness, respect, responsibility, and stewardship. Frost Valley YMCA’s programs focus on building and maintaining healthy lifestyles that reflect the interests and needs of a dynamic community. We offer a range of options for children in pre-school through grade 10. We ensure enjoyable camping and recreational experiences for each child. Camp groups are coed and are divided into groups by age and grade. We offer nutritious lunch and snack options daily at no extra charge. Our counselors, who provide constant supervision and role modeling, are what make Frost Valley’s summer camp meaningful. Many are former campers who know our camp culture and are excited to share its traditions. Counselors complete extensive training in our policies and procedures, which stress health and safety first, in a fun environment. All Frost Valley staff and volunteers undergo criminal background checks and are scanned against the National Sex Offender Registry.

DAY CAMPS

Explorers*

’Tween Camp

The Explorers program is an “introduction” to Day Camp for our youngest campers. Small hikes, daily access to our supervised waterfront, games and camp crafts will fill your camper’s day – at a fun but relaxing pace! *Children must be toilet trained.

In addition to all the traditional camp activities, ’Tweens will take an off-site, actionpacked trip and enjoy an overnight campout during each session. They will also have the opportunity to experience our many adventure and ropes courses like the zipline, the giant swing, and mountain boarding.

Pathfinders

Our Inclusion Program provides children with physical and developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience the outdoors, create long-lasting friendships, and participate in our popular Summer Day Camp programs.
