The Martyrdom of St. Abaskhiroun the Soldier. استشهاد القديس ابسخيرون الجندى القلينى 14th June - 7th Baouna بؤونة٧ - يونية١٤ On this day, the honorable St. Abaskhiroun, who في مثل هذا اليوم استشهد القديس was from the city of Qalin, was martyred. He was one of the soldiers of Arianus, governor of Ansena الجليل أبسخيرون الجندي الذي (Antinoe). When the Edict of Diocletian to worship وكانت من جند أريانا. من قلين the idols was issued, this Saint arose in the middle ولما صدرت أوامر. والي أنصنا of the people present, exposed the infidelity of the دقلديانوس بعبادة األوثان برز هذا Emperor, and cursed his idols. The Governor brought a sorcerer, whose فقد عذبه الوالي بمختلف العذابات name was Alexander. He gave the Saint some ولكن الرب كان يقويه ويصبره deadly poison, saying; “O master of the powers of و استحضر، ويشفيه من جراحاته darkness, manifest in this Christian your powers.” ليقدم للقديس، ساحرا يسمي اسكندر The Saint took the poison, made the sign of the قائال يا رئيس، شيئا من السم القاتل cross over it, and drank it, but no harm came upon الشياطين اظهر في هذا المسيحي him. The sorcerer marvelled, and he believed in the فتناول القديس السم ورسم، قوتك God of St. Abaskhiroun. Amen. ولربنا المجد. صالته تكون معنا Departure of St. Samuel the Prophet آمين.دائما 16th June - 9th Baouna نياحة صموئيل النبى On this day, of the year 2947 of the world, the بؤونة٩ - يونية١٦ upright and great, Samuel the Prophet, departed. 2947 في مثل هذا اليوم من سنة This righteous man was born in Ramathaim للعالم تنيح الصديق العظيم صموئيل Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim. His father›s وقد ولد هذا البار في رامتايم. النبي name was Elkanah and his mother was Hannah. صوفيم من جيل أفرايم واسم أبيه She was barren, and by continual supplication, the وكانت عاقرا. ألقانا وأمه حنة Lord gave her Samuel. He served Eli the priest until he grew up. إليه وقال له هل دعوتني يا سيدي me.» And Eli said, «I did not call; lie down again.» And he went and lay down. And the LORD called yet فلما. فأجابه ال ارجع أضطجع again, «Samuel!» So Samuel arose and went to Eli, مضي دعاه الرب ثانية وثالثة and said, «Here I am, for you called me.» And Eli وهو في كل مرة يقوم ويذهب answered, «I did not call, my son; lie down again.» فعلم عالي أن الرب. إلى عالي Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, nor was ارجع. هو الذي يدعوه فقال له the word of the LORD yet revealed to him. The Emperor did not dare االنطاكيين له فأشار عليه رومانس to harm him for the people of Antioch loved him. الوزير والد القديس بقطر بإرساله Romanus, St. Victor›s father, advised the Emperor إلى مصر ليقتل هناك فأرسله to send him to Egypt to be killed there. He sent him مصحوبا بكتاب إلى والي أنصنا with a letter to the Governor of Ansena (Antinoe) يقول له فيه ان أقلوديوس لم يخضع stating in it: «Claudius neither obeyed our orders, آلمرنا وال أذعن لقولنا فالطفه بكل nor hearkened our words. Persuade him with all جهدك أوال فان لم يرجع عن رأيه your power first, and if he does not return on his . فاقطع رأسه counsel, cut off his head.» When the Saint heard فلما علم القديس بذلك استدعي that, he called Sidrakhos, his sister›s husband, asked صدريخس زوج أخته وأوصاه him to care for his sister, his possessions and bid علي ماله ثم ودعه ومضي مع him farewell. The Saint went with the soldiers to ولما وصل. الجند إلى مصر Egypt. When he arrived to Arianus, the governor of إلى أريانا والي أنصنا استقبله Ansena, he received him standing, kissed his hand, يا سيدي: واقفا وقبل يديه قائال and said, «O my master Claudius, do not transgress أقلوديوس ال تخالف أمر الملك the command of the Emperor.» The Saint replied, فأجابه القديس لم أرسل إليك «I was not sent to you for you to lead me astray بل لتتم ما أمرك، لتطغيني بكالمك by your words, but that you might fulfil what the وظل االثنان بين أخذ. به الملك emperor commanded.» They argued with each other ورد إلى أن اغتاظ أريانا من أجوبة till Arianus became enraged with the answers of القديس وطعنه بحربه فاسلم الروح the Saint, and he drove the spear into the Saint. مدينة أريحا في يده .وأوقف له الشمس . شفاعته تكون معنا أمين This day also, marks the martyrdom of St. Euphemia. She was the كانالوثنيون باإلسكندرية wife of a man who feared God, and gave much alms. (1Kgs 3: 5-15) So the words الرب قلبا حكيما مميزا حتى لم يكن were good in the eyes of the Lord, because وأعطاه..مثله قبله وال بعده Solomon asked this matter. He did not ask غني وكرامة..ما لم يسأل أيضا for himself many days, or wealth, or the لقد طلب سليمان مرة..وطول أيام souls of his enemies. Hence, the Lord gave ولكنها تكفي..واحدة في حياته كلها him a wise and distinguished heart, so that هذا هو الطلب الذي...لكل شيء there was no like him before or after him. ألنه كان طلبا حسب..فرح به الرب And he gave him what he did not ask; riches, ..ارادته ومسرته dignity and length of days. Solomon asked ..في ا لحقيقة هناك كثيرون يطلبون once in his whole life, but it is sufficient for ..ولكنهم يضيعون وقتهم في الطلب everything. This is the request that the Lord ..هناك من يطلبون اياما كثيرة rejoiced in because it was a request according من هؤالء حزقيا الملك (ملوك الثاني to His will and His pleasure. وأعطاه الرب فعال خمسة..)٢٠ In fact, there are many who ask, but they حقا لقد...عشرة سنة زيادة في عمره waste their time asking. Bible Timing vs Science Timing Reconciling Biblical Creation Story With Recent Scientific Findings Summary of Einstein Theory of Relativity
The theory is summarized as follows: If there are two Frames of Reference (F.R), one is moving and the other is at rest. In the moving F.R the time ticking (tm) will be slower (depending on its speed) than time ticking (tr) in the F.R which is at rest (time dilation). The closer the speed is to the speed of light, the slower the time ticking is. If it reaches the speed of light, time will never pass. The ratio between the two timing depends on the speed of moving F.R and it is always greater than 1 and symbolized as (. Understanding Time Dilation:
When we say that tm is longer (slower) than tr we don’t mean time value is bigger but we mean time scale (distance between ticks) is. In other words, time scale of tm in the figure below is bigger than time scale of tr but time value of tm is lesser than time value of tr. Meaning that one time tick in moving F.R is bigger than the time tick of F.R which is at rest as shown in the figure below.
So, for time scale we use: tm = . tr But for time value we use: tm = tr /
A Possible Scenario
The above results can explain the discrepancies in timing between bible and science. Because time ticking in any F.R depends on its speed So, we can say that in the beginning (due to the big bang pushing force) the Earth and its carrying system (solar & galaxy) were moving in a very high speed so that time ticking was very long (slow) Now the speed of Earth and its carrying system is very slow (2.1M km/hr) compared to the original one which makes time ticking very small. Carbon dating is always using the current ticking which is very small as shown in the figure below

Matthew Henry’s Commentary John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 16:7-15 Christ’s departure was necessary to the Comforter’s coming. Sending the Spirit was to be the fruit of Christ’s death, which was his going away. His bodily presence could be only in one place at one time, but his Spirit is every where, in all places, at all times, wherever two or three are gathered together in his name. See here the office of the Spirit, first to reprove, or to convince. Convincing work is the Spirit’s work; he can do it effectually, and none but he. It is the method the Holy Spirit takes, first to convince, and then to comfort. The Spirit shall convince the world, of sin; not merely tell them of it. The Spirit convinces of the fact of sin; of the fault of sin; of the folly of sin; of the filth of sin, that by it we are become hateful to God; of the fountain of sin, the corrupt nature; and lastly, of the fruit of sin, that the end thereof is death. The Holy Spirit proves that all the world is guilty before God. He convinces the world of righteousness; that Jesus of Nazareth was Christ the righteous. Also, of Christ’s righteousness, imparted to us for justification and salvation. He will show them where it is to be had, and how they may be accepted as righteous in God’s sight. Christ’s ascension proves the ransom was accepted, and the righteousness finished, through which believers were to be justified. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. It behoves every one to ask, whether the Holy Spirit has begun a good work in his heart?
