St. Stephen’s culture was Greek. Then as this culture was sanctified by the Holy Spirit, he became strong, full of faith and wisdom, strong in argument with the tranquillity of Spirit. He was accused of blaspheming the law and Moses. Notice how he explained to them that he honours the law and honours Moses.
