Introducing... The Enterprise and Employability hub at Duddingston Yards provides the perfect environment to deliver training and workshops, conduct seminars, conferences and meetings. Forth Sector’s Duddingston Yards is located just 10 minutes from the Edinburgh Bypass, and just 15 minutes from Waverley Station and Edinburgh town centre. In the Duddingston area of Edinburgh, the facilities offer a fantastic meeting space and IT training facility away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Complete with free WiFi access, on site parking and a catering facility, we have capacity for up to 60 people in the Conference Room, and are able to provide light lunches, buffets and refreshments. The Cloud Media suite at Forth Sector provides excellent IT training or workshop space for up to 20 delegates/trainees. A number of smaller meeting rooms which seat from 2-28 people and interview rooms for one-to-one confidential meetings are also available.
IT Suite and Facilities Rooms are available with access to flipcharts, whiteboards and pens, and by prior arrangement the use of the interactive SMART Board.The building has free WiFi throughout The new interactive SMART Board has transformed our training spaces into interactive, collaborative environments. The SMART Board interactive whiteboard allows trainers to interact with dynamic multimedia content, write notes in digital ink, then save them instantly and distribute this material to delegates with ease. The Cloud Media Centre room at Forth Sector has 20 PCs using thin client technology, and is ideal for delivering IT based training or for using internet based programmes.
T Situated on the ground floor at Forth Sector is The Hub, a spacious open area where delegates or trainees can relax with tea, coffee or a snack during a break or prior to their meeting or training workshop. The Hub CafĂŠ services the meeting rooms with water, teas, coffees and biscuits. Open from 10:00a.m. until 3:00pm the cafe serves light lunches of soups, salads and hot or cold wraps, paninis and sandwiches. Hot food buffets of mini savoury pastries and snacks and a range of canapĂŠs, are also available as an option for full and half day meetings, training seminars or conferences. Breakfast Meetings are catered for when you require an early start to your business day with bacon rolls, fruit juice and Danish pastries.
