2021-22 Approved Budget
Ongoing Commitment As stewards of nearly $235 million public dollars whose responsibility it is to ensure a high quality education for the borough’s 12,000+ students the Board of Education takes seriously its responsibility as expressed in the District’s mission statement: “Our mission is to provide an excellent, equitable education in a safe, supportive environment so all students will succeed and contribute to a diverse and changing society”. The 2021-22 Approved Budget reflects the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District’s commitment to the effective use of resources and fiscal responsibility. It is also a goal driven, long-term approach to providing all students with a personalized education. It is our best effort to accurately anticipate or request funding resources and to work within that level to provide a comprehensive but sustainable level of service for our students and community Respectfully Submitted,
