OUR PARTNERSHIP
E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form is an exciting collaboration between E-ACT DSLV Academy and E-ACT Parker Academy. Through this collaboration we can offer a far wider range of subjects and progression pathways.
Our Sixth Form is jointly led by members of the senior leadership team from both academies, and whilst the Sixth Form is based on E-ACT Parker Academy’s site, both schools are equal partners. The close working relationship of the two academies means that staff help students settle quickly into the Sixth Form with the support needed.
Teachers from both academies teach across the A Level and vocational courses offered. Some specialist courses are taught on the DSLV site so there is access to the necessary equipment to complete certain studies to the highest standard.
Transport is provided between sites for lessons where this is necessary. When students travel between sites, attendance is monitored closely to maintain the highest standards.
OUR E-ACT FAMILY
We are proud to be part of E-ACT, a multi-academy trust. Our community includes over 18,000 pupils and 2,300 teachers and non-teaching professionals across the country. As an E-ACT academy we share ideas with other academies in the trust in ways other schools may not be able to. Our pupils and staff also feel part of something much bigger.

Our students are provided with a friendly, professional, and focused environment, where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Each student pathway balances 3 core components:
CAREER ASPIRATIONS
Students receive career guidance and mentoring from the moment they choose E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form in year 11. Everyone has the ability to be independent and unique as they choose their own career pathway, be it through university, employment, or an apprenticeship.
DEVELOPING SKILLS FOR THE FUTURE
We know that it is important to develop the soft skills needed for successful employment as well as academic achievement. Moving into Sixth Form means developing independence, organisational and leadership skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE
All students in year 12 will be supported in organising their own work experience. We firmly believe that having purposeful, regular work experience sets students apart when it comes to the UCAS process, apprenticeship applications and CVs.

WHERE OUR STUDENTS GO!
Each year we are impressed by the resilience, integrity and work ethic of our Sixth Form students.
E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form supports students with UCAS applications and are proud to have a high percentage of students go on to study at university. Many other students have gone onto start their career journey or gained apprenticeships. In recent years, we have had students accept university places for Law, Chemistry, Psychology, History, Sports and Business Management - to name just a few. A number of these have been at top-tier Russell Group universities. Here are a selection of our success stories:
I chose E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form due to its community feel. The teachers and pastoral team were extremely helpful and supported students on an individual basis. They wanted you to work hard but also cared deeply about their students’ wellbeing, which is vital during A Levels. It was easy to make friends due to the facilities and there was a positive environment within the building. Having a separate Sixth Form block created community amongst students whilst also giving independence. There was a great extracurricular programme including many trips to prepare for post-18 study, such as university trips, apprenticeship fairs, and educational workshops.
Taylor Brooks Leaver 2023: University of Manchester, BA Social Anthropology & Sociology
I chose E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form because of the welcoming feel and I went to E-ACT Parker Academy for secondary school so coming to the Sixth Form was always my first choice. The teachers not only provided great education, but they helped with both transitions and were always there if any help was needed. E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form offered great routes, options, and opportunities to reach future goals with university trips and apprenticeship fairs. The designated sixth form area provided a space to study, allowing for a focused working environment.

All stages of our application process ensure that students are happy and confident with their chosen course decision.
Identify your favourite courses:
Which subjects do you enjoy?
Which subjects suit your learning style? Do your subjects complement each other? Do you have a particular career in mind?
Do you have a particular university course in mind?
Look at your current grades - identify your strongest subjects and the courses your grades enable you to access.
Once you have completed the first 3 stages and have decided which course/s you wish to study, you are ready to apply! You can do this by completing the online application form on our website or email dsf.admin@pkr.e-act.org.uk for a link to the application.
Once you have applied, you will be invited for an interview. At the interview, your career aspirations will be discussed together with your chosen courses to see if they suit your interests and ability. You can change your options at this point following the discussion to ensure you select subjects that you will excel in. If you are successful, we will write to you with an offer.
Sixth Form has allowed me to develop and grow, not only academically but also as a person.
