You will want to choose subjects you enjoy and are good at. However, it’s worth remembering the subjects you choose at this stage can be very important to your future studies or career. Some Universities will accept any combination of subjects at advanced level while others prefer a specific combination of subjects. If you have a particular degree course or career in mind we have a great deal of experience to offer outstanding advice and guidance. Please take time to talk to staff from the Sixth Form at the Open Evening before you finalise your course choices. On the opposite page are the current option blocks for the next academic year. This will allow students to choose combinations of subjects that they wish to study. The option blocks are subject to change depending on the demand for different combinations of courses.

Among the opportunities available, students can: • Organise a work placement. • Volunteer in local organisations such as school, care homes and hospitals. • Support younger students in RHS with academic work and extra-curricular activities. • Organise and participate in charity events. • Represent the Sixth Form as a Student Ambassador. • Represent the school at sporting events. • Have the opportunity to participate in World Challenge.
