Dear Parent,
I would like to welcome you and your family to Rimrose Hope C.E. Primary School. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and at Rimrose Hope we will ensure that your child has the best possible start to their school life.
The teachers and support staff at our school have an excellent understanding of the curriculum experiences your child will need in order to be successful. Alongside our deep knowledge and understanding, we have the highest expectations for every child in the school, and our staff will work tirelessly every day to help your child flourish and achieve.
We believe that academic achievement provides a pathway to success in life, but we are also clear that our school should be a place where your child can grow socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually, and that is why we have developed a school experience that balances all aspects of your child’s development.
Our curriculum will help your child discover all of their strengths and, as well as helping them find all of the things that they are good at and enjoy, it will provide them with every opportunity to be creative and excel, whether that be in music, art, sport, technology, mathematics or language.

We are a proud Church of England school and we live out our mission of ‘Faith in our children – the Hope for the future’ every day. We are encouraged through hope to live a full life knowing that we are part of God’s plan, we are all unique and have our own important part to play in life. It is through knowing that God will care for us that we are encouraged to live a life of kindness and service towards others in our community.
Your child will be encouraged to take part in our ‘Hope Award’ challenges and discover for themselves the values of Hope, Creation, Service, Justice, Friendship, Wisdom and Endurance, and in doing so they will become a positive force for good within our school community.

Here at Rimrose Hope C.E. Primary School, we endeavour to give all children lots of opportunities to share their thoughts and opinions and play an active role in the decisions that affect their learning and well-being.
We aim to cultivate an ethos that empowers the children to regularly share their opinions with others. So whether it is in one of our history podcasts, during assembly time as a ‘Planet Protector’, or just quietly to one of the members of our Play Leader team, your child’s voice will be heard.

Curriculum
Great teachers make all the difference. Children will flourish if they are well taught, and the teachers at Rimrose Hope have created an outstanding school and classroom environment. At Rimrose Hope we understand that great teaching requires a broad repertoire of strategies and sustained attention and focus on the things that help our pupils learn. It is our aim to refine those strategies over time in order to adapt our teaching to suit the needs of our pupils. Our curriculum reflects this approach. It is a curriculum that has evolved over time and continues to evolve as teachers and pupils make excellent progress and develop greater knowledge and skills.

All of our after school clubs are accredited by ‘The Children’s University’ and complement and extend our curriculum offer. At Rimrose Hope learning extends far beyond the classroom with our exceptional after-school club offer. We have a diverse range of activities designed to cater to every child’s interests and passions. Our sports clubs foster teamwork, discipline, and physical well-being, while our art sessions encourage creativity and self-expression. For the tech enthusiasts, our technology clubs provide hands-on experiences with cutting-edge IT and software. Our German language club opens doors to global communication possibilities, and academic support clubs ensure every child receives the personalised attention needed to excel. At our school, the after-school hours are a time for exploration, growth, and building lifelong skills. Years EARLY
At Rimrose Hope we believe that a love for learning starts with the youngest of our children. We have funded places for 2 and 3 year olds. As a school we endeavour to capture, and spark, the imaginations of our youngest children so that they can become lifelong learners. We aim to make learning fun, engaging and authentic for our children. We inspire children through an imaginative and immersive curriculum, which ensures that the children are happy and enthusiastic to learn. Our school is a vibrant and exciting place to learn and both staff and children are extremely proud to be a part of it!
Care WRAP AROUND
We offer comprehensive wrap-around care designed to cater to the diverse needs of both children and their families. Start the day at our breakfast club, where your child can eat their breakfast and enjoy playing games with their friends ensuring a positive start to each morning. Our after-school club extends the learning adventure, providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive after regular school hours. During holidays, our exciting and enriching camps keep the momentum going, offering a blend of educational and recreational activities for all children from nursery to Y6. With our wrap-around care, parents can have peace of mind knowing their children are not only academically supported but also immersed in a caring community that values their holistic development.
