As a photographer, for me making art and spirituality have always been intertwined. At first it was unconsciously, after experiencing spontaneous communication with the spirits of nature when photographing unspoiled nature in various parts of the world. Then I started practicing shamanism with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in 2014. My approach is based around the idea of “meeting” someone, which I feel very strongly about. Be it an animal, a plant or a cloud in ordinary reality, or some other spirit.
