STUDENT TESTIMONIALS JULIA KRONHOLZ Doctoral Student
“I chose FSU to pursue my graduate degree because of the unique and extensive learning opportunities available through my program. Additionally, the outstanding faculty in the EPLS department define what it means to be a mentor: engaging, challenging, and compassionate.”
MARY-CATHERINE MCCLAIN Doctoral Student
“I chose the Ph.D. program because of its focus on providing students with broad training experiences with diverse populations. Likewise, the curriculum included a nice balance between counseling and assessment exposure. In addition to receiving training in counseling and school psychology, this program provided teaching, research, and supervision opportunities. I was also attracted to the individualized nature of this program, as students could select which practicum experiences fit best with personal and career goals (e.g., university counseling center, working with students with disabilities and career concerns). The faculty and staff seemed invested in my well-being and provided excellent support and encouragement, and the other graduate students seemed very collaborative and cohesive as an entire group. ”
