ABOUT THE GUEST ARTIST John Bucchino’s songs have been performed and recorded by renowned pop (Art Garfunkel, Judy Collins), theatre (Liza Minnelli, Patti LuPone, Kristin Chenoweth, Audra McDonald), cabaret (Barbara Cook, Michael Feinstein), and classical (Yo-Yo Ma, Deborah Voight), artists, as well as The Boston Pops, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. His honors include two Drama Desk nominations, The Johnny Mercer Award, ASCAP’s Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award, The Jonathan Larson Award, The Kleban Award, and the first annual Fred Ebb Award. He has written music and lyrics for Broadway’s A Catered Affair with a book by Harvey Fierstein (nominated for 12 Drama Desk Awards, 3 Tony Awards, and winner of the New York Drama League Award for Best Musical), as well as the musicals Urban Myths, Lavender Girl, and the new Danish musical Esaura, the revue It’s Only Life, the animated film Joseph, King of Dreams, and wrote lyrics for the children’s musical Simeon’s Gift (book by Julie Andrews and Emma Hamilton, music by Ian Fraser). Some recordings of his work are: Grateful, The Songs of John Bucchino, Solitude Lessons, On Richard Rodgers’ Piano (solo piano), the cast albums of It’s Only Life and A Catered Affair, and the new recording David Campbell Sings John Bucchino which reached number one on the Australian jazz chart. As part of their Julie Andrews Collection, Harper Collins published a children’s book based on John’s song, “Grateful, A Song of Giving Thanks,” which was awarded the Parents’ Choice Gold Award. ABOUT THE MUSIC THEATRE FACULTY Alisa Hauser holds the BFA in Musical Theatre from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and the Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College/Rider University. Teaching experience includes positions at Michigan State University and Westfield State University as well as being on the voice faculty of the Brattleboro Music Center and Music Theatre of Connecticut. She holds a Level 3 certificate in Somatic Voicework – The LoVetri Method™ and teaches a functional approach to voice training specializing in contemporary commercial music. As a performer, Alisa appeared on Broadway in the original cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie (Alice), Grease! (Frenchy), and in the original cast of Disney’s Beauty and The Beast (Silly Girl). Some of her favorite regional and stock roles include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street at Theatre-By-The-Sea, Judy in A Chorus Line at Stages St. Louis, and Her/Barb in Romance/ Romance at the Fulton Opera House. Other theatre credits include shows at Paper Mill Playhouse, Seven Angels Theatre, Music Theatre Wichita, and the Goodspeed Opera House. In 2014 Alisa was nominated for a national primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Music and Lyrics for the song “No Trouble” from A Christmas Carol – The Concert (PBS). She wrote the book adaptation and lyrics with music by Bob Christianson for this symphonic retelling of the Dickens classic. Also for television she has written lyrics with composer Stephen Sislen for the Disney Channel’s Johnny and the Sprites. For the theatre she has collaborated with award winning composers including David Mallamud, Philip Palmer, and Sam Davis. Her cabaret songs have been heard in various venues around the country including the Kennedy Center, Ars Nova, and Joe’s Pub. ABOUT THE REHEARSAL PIANISTS Sudarat Songsiridej has served as a Music Specialist for the Florida State University College of Music and School of Dance since 1997. She is a Coach/Accompanist for the Music Theatre Program; Dance Musician for the School of Dance; Assistant Music Director for the School of Theatre’s fall and spring musicals; and Pianist/Arranger for the Annual Music Theatre New York Showcase. Prior to her arrival at FSU, she served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music for the Dance Department at the University of South Florida (1996-1997). She has worked with artists including Anne Reinking, Maltby and Shire, Suzanne Farrell, and Jawole Willa Jo Zolla; played masterclasses for Violette Verdy, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Martha Graham Dance Company; composed/arranged dance music for choreographers such as Joe Goode, Lynne Wimmer, and Libby Patenaude. She has worked with numerous local and regional theatre and dance companies and has collaborated with many song writers to create piano vocal scores for musical productions.


She holds degrees in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music (BM) and the Juilliard School of Music (MM), Piano Pedagogy from FSU (MM) and has completed the Somatic Voicework™ Certification Courses, LoVetri Method I-III from Shenandoah University, Virginia and the LoVetri Institute at Baldwin Wallace University, Ohio.

Bianca Lupsha’s artistic journey began in the realm of classical piano and opera. She is profoundly thankful for the FSU Music Theatre program, which ignited her newfound passion for the vibrant world of musical theatre repertoire.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS Onyekachi Anyagaligbo is a first-year Music Theatre major from Miami, FL. Previous credits include Velma Kelly in the MKHS theatre production of Chicago. Bo Bailey is a sophomore BFA Music Theatre major from Lakeland, FL with professional credits from Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts and collegiate credits from Florida State University. Angelina Carballo is a first-year Music Theatre major from Miami, FL. Past credits include the National Tour of Annie (Annie, July, Kate, Molly understudy). Christian Collins is a sophomore BFA Music Theatre major from New Orleans, LA. He choreographed “We’ve Got Time” for this performance, and was last seen in 9 to 5. Angélica Concepción is a junior BM Music Theatre major at Florida State University. She was most recently seen as Judy in 9 to 5 at the Fallon Theatre. Adia Sofía Cotto is a sophomore BM Music Theatre major. She was last seen as a Spender Swing in Sweet Charity and the Music Theatre Cabaret. Isabella Farrugia is a junior BM Music Theatre major at FSU. Regional credits include: Into the Woods (Summer Lyric); credits with FSU include: 9 to 5, Sweet Charity, Newsies. Emma Kate Farlow is a sophomore BFA Music Theatre major from Atlanta, GA. She was most previously seen as the dance captain for 9 to 5. Gabrielle Hagenlocker is a senior Music Theatre major at FSU. She was last seen playing Violet in 9 to 5. Leah Holewyne is a sophomore BFA Music Theater major. FSU credits include 9 to 5 and Something Rotten (Maria/ensemble), and Legally Blonde (Vivian) in her hometown of Houston, Texas.


Emma Katz is a senior BFA Music Theatre major from Sarasota, FL. FSU credits include: Something Rotten, Cinderella, and 9 to 5. Elliott Kehoe is a freshman from San Antonio, TX. He was recently seen as an ensemble member in 9 to 5 at FSU. ZaKeyia Lacey is a third year BFA Music Theatre major with credits including Ensemble in Sister Act (The Muny), Sandy Cheeks in SpongeBob (Peach State Summer Theatre), Suzanne in Sweet Charity (Florida State University). Kylie Marco is a senior BFA Music Theatre major at FSU. She last starred as Helene in FSU’s production of Sweet Charity directed by Lynn McNutt. José Munoz is a senior Music Theatre BFA major from the Republic of Panama. Nick Nasta is a sophomore BM Music Theatre major from Jacksonville, FL. Previous credits include 9 to 5 (Dick/Ensemble), Something Rotten (Swing), and Sweet Charity (Frug Dancer/ Ensemble). Chijioke Oparaji is a first-year Music Theatre Major from Orlando, FL. FSU credits include: Something Rotten (Minstrel). Kyra Paternoster is a sophomore BM in Music Theatre. Previous FSU credits include 9 to 5 (Ensemble/Candy Striper), and Carousel ( Julie Jordan) in her hometown, Westfield, NJ. Caitlyn Primous is a junior BM Music Theatre major. Credits include Secret in the Wings (Music Director), Something Rotten (Assistant Music Coordinator), The Last Stop on Market Street (Tattooed Woman). John Ray is a freshman Music Theater major from Miami, FL. Catherine Roddey is a senior BM Music Theatre major from Austin, Texas. She was last seen on the FSU stage playing Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5. Max Rosenbush is a sophomore BFA Music Theatre major. He was last seen on the FSU stage as a Frug Dancer/Ensemble in Sweet Charity. Jadon Rhyne is a first-year Music Theatre major from Lincolnton, NC. McKenna Wallace is a freshman BFA Music Theatre major from Atlanta, GA.
