Spring has sprung! We are celebrating the season by introducing Akris Punto and Lela Rose to Rodes. What amazing additions!

Take a peek into the trends that’ll make the Spring-Derby season a glamorous one:

Back to Basics - Focusing on a wardrobe full of high quality staples has been at the forefront of fashion. Clean lines and beautiful materials are anything but boring. Leather Weather - Nothing works better for transitional dressing quite like a classic leather jacket. This spring you’ll see leather beyond outerwear in pieces like skirts and dresses.

Bubble Trouble - The return of the 90s is stepping aside for a resurgence of the 80s in a major way. Think drop waists and exaggerated skirts of all lengths for spring. Heavy Metal - While gold and silver are commonplace for fall and winter, this year shimmering sequins and metallic appliqués will be moving with us into spring. Seeing Red - Shades of saffron were all over the runways for the Spring 2023 season. With everything from striking head to toe suiting to easy to wear dresses, this is a color you won’t want to miss

Definitely a jacket! I feel it completes my look. I always feel fantastic wearing my Lourdes Chavez, Algo or Lafayette blazers. The bold colors and quality construction elevate everything underneath.

I love everything about Italy! The food, the fashion and the relaxed vibe seen in day-today living. For a ‘quick trip’, I love Chicago! The city has a wonderful energy and it’s easy to hit all the shops and restaurants.

Graziela hand-designs every piece, a practice she learned from her grandfather. She grew up in Brazil learning about many of the natural resources the country has to offer. Her backyard was a ‘gemological treasure’. She traveled to many different mining towns throughout Brazil learning about the fascinating history behind every stone that would ultimately be the inspiration for her future creations.

“When it comes to formulating my collections, precious stones are my guiding light. It’s a reliable and truthful route!” explains Graziela. She received a diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), confirming her practical credentials, and founded her own jewelry brand: Graziela Gems. Graziela Kaufman produces some of the most sought-after jewelry in the world. Although PatBO started off as a side hustle when Patricia Bonaldi was in law school, the passion project she originally envisioned as a young lawyer rapidly became a lucrative business, signaling the end of her law career. She was determined to interlace the success of her business with the talent of her local community. “The community of artisans who knew how to embroider didn’t think their talent was something beautiful or worth sharing,” she shares. My goal was to switch that mindset and remind my community of the beauty within their work.” Over the years, the PatBO brand has become

I am so excited about Lela Rose! Before becoming a fashion designer she was trained as a painter and sculptor, so her silhouettes and prints have such a sophisticated point of view.
