CHAPLAIN’S CORNER

I swear I’ll never treat god-names like brand-names. Because His name is Holy, pure, the highest to be praised, held in awe, glorified and worshipped. and from the outside in, I’m firmly formed. You keep me safe, healthy, on track.

You canceled my ticket to hell— Because of Jesus paying my price, that’s not my destination! Hell and Satan can never, ever have me!

11 Now you’ve got my feet on the life path, You will be with me all my days all radiant from the shining of your face. Your presence, Your Spirit within me.

Ever since you took my hand, From the day, I turned my life over to You,

I’m on the right way. I know you will guide me on the straight and rightous course!

“The Good Race” joy service is every Saturday night from 7:30 to 7:45 pm. We meet at the CMA tent. Bring a chair and come join us!

With the new racing season fast approaching, here are some thoughts on how God watches over us and so wants to be our friend, our Lord and Savior!

Psalm 16 1-2 Keep me safe, O God, You are my protection, my comfort and my security.

I’ve run for dear life to you. I seek you for my salvation.

I say to God, “Be my Lord!” Have full reign over me.

Without you, nothing makes sense. Without You, all is chaos and confusion.

3 And these God-chosen lives all around— My brothers and sisters who chose to follow You what splendid friends they make! Our hearts are alike; supportive and loving each other.

4 Don’t just go shopping for a god. God is not for sale. Don’t seek earthly replacements like possessions, power or prestige.

5-6 My choice is you, God, first and only. I choose you first and forever.

And now I find I’m your choice! You love me so much You gave your Son to pay my sin ransom!

You set me up with a house and yard. You supply my every need, no matter what the circumstance

And then you made me your heir! Because of Your love, I am a joint heir with Jesus!

7-8 The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake Your wisdom and direction keeps me focused and at peace. is confirmed by my sleeping heart. I can sleep through the night knowing you are in full control of my life.

Day and night I’ll stick with God; I will continue to trust You.

I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. I will not run from You my desire is to be close to you always.
