The Greyhound Mansfield Advantage Greyhound and Mansfield have joined forces to provide c-store operators a tremendous opportunity for growth and long term profitability. We call this the Greyhound Mansfield Advantage. Over the past year and a half, Mansfield has worked diligently to bring its customers tried and true profit improving ideas and business concepts. Through our Preferred Vendor Program, c-store operators have the ability to customize how they purchase products for their store and which products best fit their customer base.

How Does The Program Work? Greyhound and Mansfield implemented a program to gauge the profitability of installing independently owned and operated Greyhound ticket and freight services in convenient store locations. The concept has been tremendously successful and we are now looking for convenience store partners throughout the United States. Pete Patel, owner of State Road 82 Truck Stop declares,“You simply get more sales, and you can’t ask for more than that in this economy.” With the Greyhound Mansfield business model, your retail location will be added to one of Greyhound's bus routes. Routes typically serve 4,000 to 12,000 passengers per month.

Increase Profits Through Freight Services You may not know that Greyhound has been in the parcel delivery service for more than ninety years. Its nationwide network provides a cost-effective alternative to other same-day delivery options. The Greyhound Mansfield program will allow customers to ship time-sensitive packages from your retail location, adding yet another service for local customers and Greyhound riders. You will also receive a percentage of freight sales, varying by location. Typical freight commissions are between 3% - 5% which can result in as much as $30,000 per year in additional gross profit.

From your convenience store, community residents will be able to purchase tickets and ship freight while bus riders can take a break from the ride for services and products found within your store.

You're a convenience store owner and operator now, you also have the opportunity to serve as an independent Greyhound ticketing location. As with passenger freight sales, you will also receive a percentage of all ticket sales at your convenience store.
