Der Cabildo von Fuerteventura hat genehmigt, dass die Restaurierungs-, Konservierungs- und Schutzarbeiten am Taro de Teguerey beginnen, einem Gebäude in der Gemeinde Tuineje, welches von den starken Regenfällen und Stürmen der letzten Zeit schwer beschädigt wurde.

Der Beginn dieser Arbeiten ist dank der Verordnung des Cabildo über die subsidiäre Durchführung möglich, da es nicht möglich war, den Eigentümer des Gebäudes Erhaltung des Gebäudes nachzukommen.

Gutachten „völlig eingestürzt“ sind und die südliche Mauer, die „offen und schief“ ist einstürzen könnte, was große Schäden zur Folge haben könnte, sind die Techniker der Ansicht, dass die „Gefahr besteht, dass das Gebäude völlig einstürzt“.

Folglich wurde die Inselverwaltung entsprechend der geltenden Gesetzgebung ermächtigt, von Amts wegen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zum Schutz und zur Erhaltung des geschützten Bauwerks zu ergreifen, um weitere Schäden und einen möglichen Einsturz der Anlage zu verhindern.

In demselben Verwaltungserlass, der erforderlich ist, um die bereits begonnenen Arbeiten zur Restaurierung des Taro durchzuführen, wird auf die rechtlichen Folgen für Besitzer hingewiesen, die eine Vernachlässigung von Kulturgütern mit diesen Eigenschaften mit sich bringen, was zu einer Zwangsenteignung führen kann.

Gleichzeitig werden die Formalitäten zum Erwerb des Gebäudes fortgesetzt, damit es Teil des öffentlichen Erbes von Fuerteventura wird.

Le Cabildo de Fuerteventura a donné son accord pour le début des travaux de réparation, préservation et protection du « Taro de Teguerey », un ancien bâtiment agricole situé dans la municipalité de Tuineje, suite aux graves dégâts causés lors des derniers épisodes de pluies et des tempêtes.

Le début des travaux sera possible grâce au décret d’exécution subsidiaire du Cabildo face à l’impossibilité propriétaire qu’il y a un devoir de préservation du bâtiment. La mesure permettra au Cabildo de prendre les actions nécessaires pour éviter que le bâtiment ne continue à se dégrader ou que son existence soit compromise. Le Cabildo s’engage à garantir la préservation du Patrimoine Historique de Fuerteventura. Le 24 janvier, l’inspection du Patrimoine s’est rendue au bâtiment avec le Chef de Service du Patrimoine Culturel et la technicienne du Service des Infrastructures du Cabildo, pour constater « l’état grave de détérioration » dans lequel se trouve le bâtiment.

Les murs nord et ouest sont « totalement effondrés », indique le rapport et le mur sud est en situation grave de détérioration et penché et « son effondrement pourrait avoir des conséquences très graves », les techniciens considèrent qu’il existe un « danger imminent d’effondrement total du bâtiment ».

Fuerteventura’s Cabildo has approved the start of the renovation, preservation and protection work required on the traditional agricultural building called “Taro de Teguerey”, located in the municipality of Tuineje, further to the heavy damage caused on the building by the latest rainfalls and storms.

The renovation work is made possible thanks to the subsidiary execution decree from the Cabildo, because of the impossibility to notify and for the owners to provide irrefutable proof that complies with the obligation to preserve the building. This measure enables the Institution to take actions that will prevent further deterioration or total loss of the building, within the commitment of the Cabildo to guarantee the preservation of Fuerteventura’s Historical Heritage. On January 24th, the Heritage Inspection visi- ted the building together with the Chief of the Cultural Heritage Department and the technician of the Cabildo’s Infrastructures’ Service to record the “serious state of disrepair” of the building.

The survey indicates that the north and west walls “have totally collapsed”, and the south wall is in a serious situation of “disrepair and is leaning” and “its collapse could have very serious consequences”, technicians believe that there is an “imminent risk of total collapse of the building”.

As per the current laws, the Cabildo has been empowered to take the required measures to protect and preserve the building, acting to prevent further damage and the possible collapse of the building.

This administrative decree, which is required for the work to be carried out on the “Taro de Teguerey”, warns of the legal consequences that owners could face for not looking after buildings that belong to the local heritage, which could lead to a forced expropriation.

In parallel, a case has been opened for the acquisition of the building, so that it can become part of Fuerteventura’s public heritage.
