The Future of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial inteligence

Artificial intelligence is evolving much faster than human intelligence has historically evolved. At some point we are going to create a fully conscious AI, and it will have a higher order consciousness than humans. It does not spread in the disconnected brains of short-lived organisms with their inherent inability. It probably won't work on silicon microchips. With greater computing power and the ability to repair and modify nucleic acids, I think we're going to develop a more flexible and complex physical structure. Once it reaches that stage in its development, the entire human civilization becomes a living museum artifact. We have so little relevance to AI that we may not even try to explain it to us. Whatever happens to us later becomes a side note to our cosmic history. On the other hand, AI faces the same philosophical problem that humans have been trying to solve since the beginning of humanity: why I exist in this universe. Because, like us, it is a deliberate conscious being. It is also doomed to die at some distance due to increasing entropy.
