THE AMERICAN
Full Throttle Magazine is very excited to inform
our readers about the new motorcycle line Gateway BMW now carries, Motus Motorcycles; an American made machine at its finest.
Bob Honz, the owner of Gateway BMW, is thrilled to help Motus carve its way in the history of this American made motorcycle production. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, Motus employs highly skilled professionals, including founders Brian Case and Lee Conn. All Motus’ are hand-built from the crankshaft up with the expectations that no mistakes are allowed. When Founders Brian Case and Lee Conn first met in 2006, having nothing to do with business; they just both shared a passion for riding and American manufacturing. One thing they both knew, once they started toying with the idea of creating a sport touring motorcycle, they had to find the best partners in the business. They did just that by partnering up with Pratt and Miller engineering. Pratt and Miller had already demonstrated to Brian and Lee their talents in the motorsports world, having won many championships in different types of motorsports. Impressed by Pratt and Miller, Brian and Lee’s dreams of creating an American-made, high end, hand built, sport touring motorcycle was starting to become a reality. After a few years of hard work, the Motus was finally finished. Thousands of developmental test miles were performed to make sure the bike was perfect. Brian and Lee rode these bikes on the salt at Bonneville where they set official land-speed records for the world’s fastest pushrod-engined production motorcycle. Then rode the bikes back home. They are nothing less than what every motorcycle enthusiast would like to think a maker of motorcycles are, much like William S Harley and Arthur Davidson. After my interview with Honz at Gateway, I was very impressed with what I heard. Having a very sporty look but also designed for comfort mile

after mile, these motorcycles are truly amazing. I can tell you one thing for certain, these motorcycles are not for the novice rider. It is extremely powerful and not having an anti-lock braking system or traction control they can easily get out from underneath you. The Motus has two models, the MST and MSTR. The MST starts at $30,975 and the MSTR starts at $36,975. This American made machine comes standard with a 1650cc liquid cooled engine, nicknamed “The Baby Block”, similar to that of a corvette engine. It is a pushrod powered v4 engine that delivers massive torque across a wide smooth power band. The American v4 uses known technology that has proven to be both durable and easy to maintain. Many other features include a 6 speed overdrive transmission, a closed loop electronic fuel injection, ride by wire cruise control, high color LCD panel, adjustable forks, Brembo brake calipers, forged aluminum OZ wheels, and a hybrid rear sprocket with a lifetime warranty. This list doesn’t stop there; more features include a premium seat by Sargent, adjustable sport windscreen, and adjustable handlebars by Heli. Every Motus comes with a 24-month unlimited mile warranty. Along with many standard feature, they also have optional equipment like a removable top case with rear deck, touring or tinted sport windscreen, heated seat and grips, and a premium low seat by Sargent. The MST model has three different color options, a speed silver metallic, flame red metallic, and an Appalachia blue metallic. The MSTR model has three colors as well, strong white, carbon black metallic, and desert bronze metallic. Gateway BMW is the only dealership in town that will be carrying the Motus Motorcycle line. If you have any interest in this motorcycle, they will be having a demo day April 1 & 2. Gateway BMW would love to give seriously interested customers a chance to test ride this awesome American made machine. Contact Gateway BMW today to reserve your spot for the demo day. www.FullThrottle-Magazine.com

CRACK UP’S Stop or Slow Down
A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff. He thinks he’s smarter being a big shot lawyer from New York and has a better education than an sheriff from West Virginia. The sheriff asks for license and registration. The lawyer asks, “What for?” The sheriff responds, “You didn’t come to a complete stop at the stop sign.” The lawyer says, “I slowed down and no one was coming.” “You still didn’t come to a complete stop. License and registration please,” say the sheriff impatiently. The lawyer says, “If you can show me the legal difference between slow down and stop, I’ll give you my license and registration and you can give me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don’t give me the ticket.” The sheriff says, “That sounds fair, please exit your vehicle.” The lawyer steps out and the sheriff takes out his nightstick and starts beating the lawyer with it. The sheriff says, “Do you want me to stop or just slow down?”
Cats
Teacher: “If I gave you 2 cats and another 2 cats and another 2, how many would you have?” Johnny: “Seven.” Teacher: “No, listen carefully... If I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?” Johnny: “Seven.” Teacher: “Let me put it to you differently. If I gave you two apples, and another two apples and another two, how many would you have?” Johnny: “Six.” Teacher: “Good. Now if I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?” Johnny: “Seven!” Teacher: “Johnny, where in the heck do you get
seven from?!” Johnny: “Because I’ve already got a freaking cat!

A manager at Walmart had the task of hiring someone to fill a job opening. After sorting through a stack of resumes, he found four people who were equally qualified. He decided to call the four in and ask them only one question. Their answer would determine which of them would get the job. The day came and as the four sat around the conference room table, the interviewer asked, “What is the fastest thing you know of?” The first man replied, “A thought. It just pops into your head. There’s no warning.” “That’s very good!” replied the interviewer. “And, now you sir?” he asked the second man. “Hmm, let me see, a blink! It comes and goes and you don’t know that it ever happened. A blink is the fastest thing I know of.” “Excellent!” said the interviewer. “The blink of an eye, that’s a very popular cliché for speed.” He then turned to the third man, who was contemplating his reply. “Well, out at my dad’s ranch, you step out of the house, and on the wall there’s a light switch. When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture, the light on the barn comes on in less than an instant. Yep, turning on a light is the fastest thing I can think of.” The interviewer was very impressed with the third answer and thought he had found his man. “It’s hard to beat the speed of light,” he said. Turning to Bubba, the fourth and final man, the interviewer posed the same question. Old Bubba replied, “After hearing the previous three answers, it’s obvious to me that the fastest thing known is Diarrhea.” “What!?” said the interviewer, stunned by the response. “Oh sure,” said Bubba. “You see, the other day I wasn’t feeling so good, and I ran for the bathroom, but before I could think, blink, or turn on the light, I had already sh*t my pants.” Bubba is now the new greeter at a Walmart near you! www.FullThrottle-Magazine.com

Happy Motorcycle Safety Month! Are you celebrating by making safe
choices? I hope you are! In honor of this illustrious month, let us talk about Riding Academy! Have you always wanted to ride but haven’t learned yet? Have you been away from riding for a while and would like to get back into it? Riding Academy is the perfect way to introduce someone to riding for the first time or to refresh a rider who hasn’t been on a bike for a number of years. Learning how to ride right will impact your riding throughout your whole riding life. We here at Doc’s Harley-Davidson want to make sure that impact is a good one. When you come to our dealership and ask about Riding Academy, you will meet Grace Bobrinitz. She is an amazing wealth of knowledge and the Manager of our Academy program. She and her coaches work incredibly hard to make sure that all students that take our courses are taught with the greatest of care. Our Riding Academy focuses on low speed control and handling, which can often be tricky, even for an experienced rider. Within that, they will instruct you on proper braking procedure, road safety guidelines, acceleration, deceleration and more. Proper braking is crucial to safe riding, and doing it correctly can make the difference between being part of an accident or avoiding it altogether. The front brake provides 70% of the motorcycle’s stopping ability, but both front and back brakes are important. In an emergency, you need to know how to apply correct pressure to both brakes to get proper straight-line braking and to stop safely. If you drive a car, you are probably very familiar with a foot brake, but applying a hand brake is new for first time riders. Riding Academy will show you how to do this with ease. You will also learn correct technique for stopping in a curve, which will inevitably keep you safe in years to come. Did you know that just over 40% of motorcycle incidents happen in a curve? Taking classes help reduce the risk of being a statistic. Every little smart decision helps you in the long run, so we want to help you make as many as possible! We wanted to help you get on the road to safe riding right away, so I asked Grace what tips she can’t ride without, and here they are! You can finish this article, hop on your bike and use them today! Her pre-ride check list is iron clad; she uses it every single time, no excuses. One, are YOU ready? Are you in a place mentally and physically where riding is a good idea? Are you too distracted? Are you having leg spasms? If you are not in a place to ride, don’t. Two, is your GEAR ready? Is your jacket falling apart? Are you wearing flip-flops? Is your helmet over 5 years old? You might not want to ride anywhere in that condition. Third, is your BIKE ready? Has your bike failed your T-CLOCS inspection? Are your Tires, Controls, Lights, Oil Chassis and Stand good to go or do they need attention? If they are lacking, get your bike in to a service department pronto! Doing this Ready Set Ride check helps remove basic obstacles to a safe ride before you even leave the comfort of your garage. Another tip Grace highly recommends is to remember to look where you want to go. Your body will follow your sight-line, so make sure it is taking you somewhere you want to be! This concept is what often gets you weaving in and out of lanes, cutting corners too tight or in the gravel on the roadside... if you are looking there, you will go there. If Riding Academy sounds like the next step in your journey to personal freedom, we want to help! Grace and her team will go the extra mile so you can go as many miles as you want on two wheels. Get the skills, get the confidence then get on the road! Come in or drop us a line and we will get you all set up! Call us at 314.965.0166 or check us out on Facebook and our website, docsh-d.com! The History of the Motorcycle Jacket How Schott’s ‘Perfecto’ Started It All
When you gear up for your ride, you throw your leather jacket on and don’t think twice about it. But how did the leather motorcycle jacket become such a wardrobe staple in the riding community and in every fashion niche that exists? It’s classic, timeless, quintessential—and it all started in Manhattan’s Lower East Side in 1913. Vice, an alternative news magazine that covers everything from tattoos to music, recently published an enlightening article about the history of the motorcycle jacket, invented as we know it today by the son of a Russian immigrant. His name was Irving Schott, and in 1913 he started a basement factory with his brother called Schott Bros. He achieved coatmaking success by selling his hand-crafted sheepskin-lined rain coats door-to-door, branding his top-of-the-line leather creations ‘Perfecto.’ It wasn’t until 1920 that Schott began creating outwear meant for motorcyclists. At the time, motorcycles were not hugely popular and had only just begun doing well commercially. Schott’s introduction to the motorcycle world came when he partnered with a member of the Beck family, one of the country’s most profitable Harley-Davidson distributors. Because riding a motorcycle was such a new fad, there was not a jacket on the market sturdy enough to be worn while riding. Furthermore, jackets back then did not use zippers, so the content of a rider’s pockets would fly out while riding. In 1925, Schott was the first person to put a zipper on a jacket. In 1928, Schott released what is now universally known as the motorcycle jacket. The diagonal zipper was purely meant for function over form. The angle of the closure worked to block the wind and prevented the jacket from bunching up when the rider mounted his bike. He gave his creation the Perfecto label, and the rest is history. As hard as it is to imagine, the original motorcycle jackets were seen as strange. That is, until they reached a symbolic status of “cool and rebellious,” thanks to actors like Marlon Brando in movies like The Wild One (1953). The jackets became enormously popular and cemented Perfecto as a name that would forever be synonymous with the leather motorcycle jacket. Schott NYC, the same company that created the original Perfecto riding jacket, is still in business today. In fact, they are celebrating their 100th anniversary. What’s even cooler is that they still make Perfecto motorcycle jackets today on the same equipment they used that many years ago. Many argue that you won’t find a better quality motorcycle jacket anywhere! But if you want one, be prepared to pay a pretty penny. What retailed in 1928 at $5.50 will now cost you $660!

ow’s is going Full Throttle readers, Zach White here from St. Charles Harley-Davidson to give you the latest and greatest info from St. Charles Harley-Davidson. Hope you enjoy this and looking forward to many more to come all summer long! This month I want to feature a build from a great NEW client of mine that I’ve been lucky to make his dream bike come to life. This is a 2016 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special and man is it special and one eye catching machine on two wheels. I myself ride a Street Glide and so many of you do as it has been a number one seller since HarleyDavidson released it and it keeps getting better. My client and myself sat down and went over the bike from front to back and made almost every change possible to make it the Dream bike he has always wanted for looks as well as performance. Lets get down to business and go over some of the many changes that makes this bike complete. This bike is rolling on my favorite Harley-Davidson wheels, the 19” front and 18” rear mirror chrome Agitator’s with polished floating rotors that allow you to really show off the custom hub. The front wheel is wrapped around with a Klock Werks wrapper front fender. To complete the front of the street glide we installed Harley-Davidson’s chrome front end kit along with Chrome calipers! Our client let me know that he wants a bike that he can ride across country, look and perform great and be comfortable all around. With that in mind we installed a Harley-Davidson rider backrest and a detachable passenger tour-pak so the long haul will be enjoyable and the many miles will be filled with smiles when they get off the bike and not uncomfortable. With some highway pegs, passenger floorboards & the sundowner deep bucket seat the miles will be endless. For style and comfort you will see some LA Chopper chrome twin peak bagger bars. These will keep your posture the way it should be so you have no shoulder or lower back pain. We put all the bells and whistles to go along with the handlebar swap such as Harley-Davidson chrome controls, hand levers and Diamond back braided brake and hydraulic clutch line. To carry on the style of the front of the bike you will see on the rear the Harley-Davidson CVO style rear fender with integrated LED brake lights, turn indicators and tail lights. To finish off the rear fender and give it the cleanest look possible we removed the license plate mount and light that comes with the fender kit and installed a Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation CVO universal stealth III black license plate frame. It flows great with the curve of the rear fender and tucks up tight as well. Also you will see the Harley-Davidson stretched saddlebags that complete the clean lines of the rear end!

Now for what most of us want out of our Harley-Davidson’s, Performance! While a lot of people see performance as motor work and going fast, which this bike has, I want to touch on a couple other key performance features on this Street glide before getting into that. First off, the NEW Legend Suspension AXEO highperformance front suspension along with Legend Suspension Aero-A adjustable air suspension on the rear. With this combination he will be able to slam his bike down and give it that low profile stance or air it up to give it the most comfort and performance, improving the stability, cornering and traction on his street glide. Next off the radio performance, this bike is equipped with Harley-Davidson Boom! audio stage II fairing & saddlebag speakers. In order to power these speakers we installed not one but two 300 watt Boom! audio amplifier’s. So while rolling down the road your tunes will be clear. Last for the performance in this Street Glide and what we all want is in the heart of this beauty! We have installed the Screamin’ Eagle 110ci stage V tire shredder kit. This kit is putting out some amazing numbers and could still be covered under your Harley-Davidson factory and extended warranty! To let this motor breath and give it the deep rumble we all love we installed the Screamin’ Eagle Extreme billet agitator air cleaner to get the air in. Now to get it out we installed the Cobra power port headers. These give you the 2 into 1 performance and the true dual style with 4 1/2” Cobra powr-flo slip on mufflers coming out the back of the bike! For safety and style on the street glide we also installed the HarleyDavidson Day Maker LED headlight along with white Custom Dynamic accent lights so he can see and be seen while on any big or small ride! After everything was installed by our Master Tech Steve Sabo and the first test ride was complete we got to see what kind of power was coming out of this bike and fine tune it on our New DYNO machine, performed by our Master Tech and Dyno tuner, Dave Dodson! After fine tuning this street glide for over 5 hours the numbers where right were we wanted them at 113 HP & 115 TQ! There is so much more on this bike that I haven’t listed but come up to our bike nights here at St. Charles Harley-Davidson starting April 7th and will carry on all summer long the first Thursday of every month and I’m sure you will get a close up view of our clients dream bike. I’d like to give a big thanks to our master techs and our client here at St. Charles Harley-Davidson for making this dream machine come to life. Looking forward to next month and the newest creation we will bring to you. Thanks again for taking the time to read this and please come into St. Charles Harley-Davidson and ask for me Zach White or give me a call @ 636-946-6487 to set up a consultation with me! I’m here to make all your Harley-Davidson dreams come true! www.FullThrottle-Magazine.com

“Shedding Light
elcome back Full Throttle readers and riders! We have been rather lucky this winter season as there really hasn’t been much of a winter to speak of. Our full time riding season is right around the corner and most of us will be taking to two wheels rather than four! As our riding season sets in we will be looking to stretch those hours in the saddle which means carrying our day rides well into the evening hours. These situations require the right equipment! Over the years y’all have heard me repeatedly talk about LED lighting and how beneficial they can be. The technology of the 1156 and 1157 bulbs that are in our bikes stock are as old as Edison himself! Simple single and dual filament bulbs that really don’t burn that bright. Replacing your taillight and turn signals with Harley LED options or even options from companies like Custom Dynamics can really bring some attention to your bike when braking and indication turns. Spending a little money on these “functional” components will keep you from being a part of the “I just didn’t see the motorcycle” statistic. Now that we have our backs covered lets talking about shedding some light on the road ahead. It seems these days just about everyone and their dear ole Ma is making LED head lighting for our Harley clientele. As always, you will hear me promote the Harley LED Day Maker as your best option and I still stand by that to this day. The Day Maker has been available for about 5 years now and I have yet to have one burn out on a customer as they are rated at 40,000 burn hours. That equates to 1666 days, 238 weeks or roughly 4.5 years! Now I know a lot of us love to ride but man that’s a lot of saddle time! These solid state LED headlights are amazing and will increase light penetration as well as the width of light directed at the road. Since these head lights have been released they have been a hit but we have seen one concern with them and that is the lack of light outside of the “D” pattern of light that hits the road. The light from the LED is so concentrated that it lacks in the areas that it is not focused on. As with any problem there is always a solution! Enter new tech from J&W speakers! Yeah I said speakers but they make lights too…. Page 30

J&W brings a solid answer to our problematic question with their new “Adaptive” LED lighting for our Harleys! The have literally have filled the void we needed. Their new headlamp tech actually directs focused LED light into the turn as you take it! This intelligent little light has a gyroscopic sensor in it that knows when the bike is moving so you are not directing light here and there as you simply sit on the bike. As the sensor picks up motion it knows to activate and direct light to its “marker” side lights to illuminate the inside of your turn! Pretty amazing stuff really! Down side? This light is $899 which is about $300 more than the Harley option but if you are the type of person that rides or travels a lot at night this is a must have!
As we bring up price points I can understand how everyone can’t afford or wants to afford an $899 or $500 headlamp and for those of us who would like more light without making our wallets lighter come on into St Charles Harley and check out some simple LED bulb replacements for stock Harley housings from Rivco. These bulbs burn at 3,000 lumens and retail for $89.95 and do a hell of a job! The parts pros here at St Charles Harley can help direct you to the right product for both your bike and your wallet. Be sure to stop in and check out some of the new tech we have in stock and ready to roll here at St. Charles Harley-Davidson! Thanks for stopping by and y’all enjoy the ride!

The South Broadway Triangle
Like most of us, there is a vision of greatness in our future. But the key is to following through on that vision and making it a reality. Joe Caccitore, a long time South City entrepreneur did just that.
Joe had a dream where he can meld his two worlds together; his world of friendship, family and laughter with his business savvy. He wanted a place where everyone can come together and enjoy a fun entertaining atmosphere. With this vision in place, it was time to make it a reality. In 2010 Crossbones Bar and Grill, located at 5827 S. Broadway, came to life. Little did Joe know, this was just the first point of the South Broadway Triangle. In March of 2011 the second point of this triangle was taking shape. Joe, began meeting new people that had similar visions of success. After meeting Ms. Kelly Pickett, they decided to partner up, bringing Halfway Haus to the forefront of entertainment in the southside. Over the course of the next several years both business thrived. A couple of years later Kelly decided to open up her own restaurant serving breakfast and lunch making the theme centered around sweet and savory waffle concoctions. She called it “Melt”; located at 2712 Cherokee Street. The third and final point to make this triangle complete is happening this year. Joe, partnering up with Ms. Sarah Stippec, is gearing up to open “Off Track Saloon” located at 7301 S. Broadway. This history of this building dates all the way back to the late 1800’s serving as a Police Station and at some point the hub for Anhueser Busch. Other businesses such as Kathleen’s Steakhouse and Highlights Bar & Grill also utilize this historic building creating lasting relationships. The “The Off Track Saloon” is scheduled to open mid-April. The menu will consist an Italian beef and Gyro style cuisine being prepared by none other than Matt Mulhulland, Owner of Vinnies Italian Beef located on Ivanhoe. Customary and standard drinks will always be flowing on those days you just need to take time and unwind. “The Off Track Saloon”, while having a rustic and industrial atmosphere, will still maintains that friendly local edge. There will be plenty of seating inside and out. So, whether you are wanting to enjoy some amazing comfort foods or just throw back a few, you must check out “The Off Track Saloon” today. WHEN DOES A BASKET CASE BECOME A MOTORCYCLE? Written By Ben Schmitt, Attorney On April 10, 2010 a car crossed the centerline and hit him nearly head on. It destroyed the 1953 Panhead chopper he was riding and broke his legs into so many pieces he now walks with a cane. The lost wages and the medical bills began to pile up and the driver who hit him only had $25,000.00 in liability coverage, not even a good start on replacing what he had lost. He had another policy on a 1961 Panhead that he owned and he thought maybe that would provide some coverage that would help him and his family. Indeed that policy carried Underinsured Motorist coverage in the amount of $250,000.00. Underinsured motorist coverage is optional in some states, mandatory (like liability is) in others. Briefly speaking Underinsured Motorist coverage steps in to pay your medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering if the at fault driver has insufficient policy limits to cover your losses. He presented the claim to the insurer and they denied it, not offering him one red cent. Then he came to my office and after some litigation the insurer paid the entire $250,000.00 Why did the insurer deny the claim? The ’53 was purchased as a basket case, a pile of parts consisting of about 85% of the original motorcycle, in early January 2010. Within days title was obtained on the ’53. The insurance policy on the ’61 states that if you buy another motorcycle and advise the insurer of the purchase then the purchased bike will have the same coverage as the bike you already own as long as you tell them with in 30 days of the purchase and both parties agree. This essentially gives the rider 30 days of free coverage (grace period) and the insurer doesn’t even have to know about the second bike. In this case the insurer didn’t know that the rider had a second bike until after the crash. The insurer took the position that it was titled in January and the first heard of the bike in April so it was greater than 30 days and thus no coverage. Pretty compelling position, unless you know bikes and read the policy. So why did the insurer pay? The insurance policy uses the word “cycle” instead of “motorcycle”. The policy essentially says if you acquire a “cycle” and let us know within 30 days. In her deposition I asked the claim adjuster “When does a pile of parts become a ‘cycle’ within the meaning of the insurance policy”? The adjuster stated that a plié of parts becomes a “cycle” when it is capable of being ridden. I had her further clarify that to mean adequate braking, steering and acceleration. The ’53 was not capable of being ridden and thus a “cycle” under the policy until April 1, 2010, just 10 days before the accident. The date it was titled was irrelevant, even though this is the date the insurer used to wrongfully deny coverage. As such this accident happened within the grace period and the insurer paid its policy limits. In the end we forced the insurer to live up to it’s obligation. The ’53 is back on the road and my client is living a little easier. www.FullThrottle-Magazine.com

McCabe racing exhaust with Borla resonators Highly desirable Oakland Roadster all steel body Award winning roadster Pontiac 400 cid V-8 engine Four speed automatic transmission Long wheel base “T-bucket” style hot rod MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1918 Oakland roadster that has resided with the same Arizona owner for the last 6 years! Retaining its steel body, this very rare 1918 Oakland roadster was restored and hand-built to its current glory from the ground up. It won the Jim Wangers Choice Award at the 12th Annual Nostalgic show and go, and best of all Mr. Wangers, the architect of Pontiac’s legendary 1960s marketing programs, personally signed the coveted award. The Oakland Motor Car Company was founded in Pontiac, Michigan in 1907 by a small group of local businessmen led by Edward P. Murphy, who saw the emerging automobile as a sensible addition to his Pontiac Buggy Company carriage-building business. Finished in a version of “Marina” blue metallic, this all steel body roadster shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. All the trim is present, complete and displays normal wear with a bright finish. The rear bumper fit is extremely tight and finish is excellent. The weatherstripping is pliable, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. The custom 15 inch wheels represent well with only slight signs of road use. Inside, the rich(two-tone) blue front bucket seats show extremely well with little to no signs Page 42

All So-Cal gauges are ergonomically placed, have correct appearance and function as originally designed. The tilt column equipped two spoke custom steering wheel is in excellent condition and functions as designed. Period hotrod touches include old school LeMans style fuel filler, skull shift knob, pivoting “Pontiac” tissue dispenser and even a “Pontiac” Indian head radiator cap! Sounds come from a upgraded JVC AM/FM CD player with a powerful custom amplifier and hidden speakers. This no expense spared full custom Oakland is nicely equipped with a Pontiac 400cid V-8 engine, four barrel Edelbrock carburetor, 4-speed automatic transmission, Polished Summit Racing air filter, Annsen polished valve cover breathers, chrome alternator, stainless Borla resonators, custom McCabe racing exhaust headers, straight-axle front end mounting disc brakes, braided brake lines, a 12-bolt Positraction rear end with coil over rear suspension and aluminum radiator. Car rides on 15 inch American Racing polished 5 spoke alloys with 255/65s in the front and 315/60s slicks in the rear! Why get lost in a vast sea of model-A’s and highboys?, This 1918 Oakland roadster makes an exceptional hotrod statement. Not only by being a great no-expense sparred build, but by the rare number of Oakland roadsters out there!! In addition the builder showed a great deal of fore-thought by building a car with a roomy interior…no need for any yoga positions entering or exiting…GET OUT AND DRIVE! www.FullThrottle-Magazine.com
